The Takahashi pearls from PP have finally arrived, it's like Christmas came back around a second time! Well, considering the fact that I got a saucepan from my husband and my daughter stole my white elephant gift, I will count this as a late Christmas gift 
These are the 5mm gem grade pearls, set into studs for DD. When I opened the box, I couldn't stop saying "Wow" because the luster was so freaking sharp.
I had the 8mm gem pair set with the diamond bar, and I am pretty sure I made the right choice. It is just enough bling and contrast of color to make the pearls really stand out.
I love how it sits on my ear too!
And for comparison, here are the new TK gem grades next to my 7mm Hanadama pair. The 5mm definitely has the sharpest luster, followed by the 8mm and then 7mm.
