Tanzanite side stones?

I just bought an engagement ring for my fiancee (RB, .75 ct). She wants to get it reset w/ small tanzanite side stones. Is this possible? I''ve been looking for a while and nobody seems to offer this setting. Would this have to be custom made and if so, does anyone have any idea what it might cost?

I don''t know if there are options out there for pre-made rings, but you could have a setting made, I''m sure.

Tanzanite isn''t a great choice for an engagement ring because it''s both soft and brittle. You will find yourself replacing stone regularly over time. Consider sapphires of a similar color as a much more durable alternative.

That said, most jewelers can set whatever stones you want on the sides. Ask ''em.
