No ballpark necessary it was $2200. I hope he doesn''t mind me posting that, lol. That''s for the stacking band and he provided the pink sapphires as well.Date: 7/30/2008 6:39:01 PM

I love your rings (both)
If it''s not too personal could you ballpark Ari''s quote to make the band with the stones you provided? I''ve had him quote a couple of settings for a cushion I bought and he was extremely expensive (compared to Leon Mege and Vatche). I hate to ask for another quote if I''m not going to use him. I have 5 .20 RB and 8 .10 baguettes that I''m thinking of putting in an eternity similar to yours.
$2K? $2.5K? Just a ballpark if you''re OK with it.
It''s ''listed at $4450''-ish I believe. Depending on the price of platinum it can affect the cost of the ring... Ari sold it to us for something in the $3400-$3500 range... I forget the breakdown since my FI''s ring was similar in cost to mine. As I said before though there are 3 sizes, one smaller and one larger then the one I got.Date: 7/30/2008 8:24:37 PM

Hi Violet!
Since we''re talking #''s, would you mind saying what you (ballpark) paid for the OEC eternity? I seriously love that ring....
Well I can tell you this much... the setting alone for my e-ring was a lot cheaper than $6500! Ouch! That''s nuts.Date: 7/30/2008 8:53:56 PM

We can discuss price, I think some people prefer not to. Well, that''s pretty good for platinum, and the work involved. I may have to think seriously about having it made. I''m not wearing either ring now (5 stone and the baguette band) and they aren''t doing me any good in the drawer.
I was looking at some antique style settings similar to your engagement ring. Different styles but about the same pave, etc. If I remember correctly both were around $6500 and I was a little freaked. I certainly can''t fault their workmanship and styling. Singlestone has some beautiful settings
One thing I wanted to add to this thread... Ari mentioned your setting quote Purrfectpear... he said it required a lot of specially cut stones and it wasn''t a basic pave or antique style ring. I think the elaboratness and time to make such a piece can be more costly. Also quotes are always a bit of guesswork until they see the stones they have to work with. I know that was the case with my mom''s ring for sure.Date: 7/30/2008 8:53:56 PM
