You know Linda, I do not understand some people now a days. Last year, I took pictures for a couple for their wedding gift, my folks gave them a nice wedding gift, and my Mom ended up working in the kitchen for the whole reception - and she wasn''t even asked too...and we didn''t even as much as get a thank you...Strm and I worked on their pics and had some done and I also had done their engagement pics and they just had to pay to have some printed - and we never even got a thank you - written nor verbal. And whenever the bride came to visit - she always talked about the pictures the other girl took - the ones they HAD to pay for...my mom was not a happy camper about that...then she would sit and tell us how bored she was in her little apartment - and I almost told her she could start writing thank you notes to everyone - lol - me bad! giggle
But I believe there should be thank you cards. I know Strm and I have been engaged for a long time - but when they had a bridal shower for me - I made sure everyone got a thank you note - to me was only proper. I think a photo thank you is nice - but at least take the time and sign them personally.
