Honestly, I am just so excited to get my hands on this thing that I wanted to talk about / thank all of you that have helped me so much. I feel I did really well and I know it will stun my FF.
We went to the mall the other day and she tried on a similar ring that was 1.15carats and she it great coverage (size 5 fingers). She admitted that it was excessive to expect the 1.15 as it was expensive (more than I paid for my 1.63) but she absolutely adored.
I didn't plan on ordering for another month but I found I stone I liked:

I went with this sitting in platinum. It's a cushion halo with a round brilliant center. The band is 1.5mm, the ff liked the V/Split shank plus it may give it some durability.
I think I did very well on the price. The diamond was 13090. I was planning on order a ritani though whiteflash but when this stone showed up on ritani I decided to grab it.
Cannot wait to get it.
