Excited to post here! This is my new 5.01 GIA K/VS2 antique cushion in a platinum LM-inspired halo with F/G single cut melee and lovely double claw prongs. Measures 11.14 x 10.32 x 5.42 mm with faint fluorescence. Size 7 finger. I’m in love with the creamy color and the big, chunky facets. The diamond is quite the chameleon and plays up so many rainbow colors depending on the lighting and surroundings.

But you have that gorgeous huge marquise! What hope have the rest of us with smaller stones if you’re getting a complex?

Looking at all these 10+ ct will give me a shrinkage complex and then I would be in trouble. I already feel like it’s not really that big but when I really think about it, I know that it is and I’m extremely lucky/blessed. I know for me there is no real upgrade in my future but I can still dream lol

Ha! Fair enough. I’ll never get to any bigger than 2.5 carats if I’m lucky so I enjoy daydreaming over this thread. But if I’m realistic, even 2.5 is bigger than my lifestyle will likely allow or I’d feel comfortable wearing!

Both the stone and setting are seriously gorgeous! I just got my first 2ct+ diamond and can’t imagine myself posting to this thread but who knows what the future might hold! As you’ve shown, dreams sometimes do come true!
