I actually really loved that Moana never mentioned the other girls and totally brushed off comments about them not liking her or whatever. I didn''t think it was big ego as much as decent self-esteem and realizing you can''t please everyone. You don''t need to justify why others don''t like you...who cares about them anyway?

I don''t think I ever heard Sarah bad mouth any of the other girls or try to start any drama. I just meant she was totally aware that there was another girl to consider. Moana seemed to ignore the fact that there was a chance Travis would not choose her. You are right, her parents DRILLED Travis. It was uncomfortable to watch. We thought he handled himself really well. I am not sure why she wouldn''t expect to be "grilled" by his parents. This is part of the show. They are going to have questions for her. They are his parents. I thought they were very innocent questions. Not like when her step mother said the show was insulting to marriage or when her father asked him what he believes in.

Oh well...now is the waiting game to see if Sarah and Travis last. Is there a reunion show next week?

Which is why I kinda hope she is The Bachelorette. We could see her broken heart mended (no one wanted her to be that openly humiliated & wounded ... I did feel for her) AND ... we could enjoy a whole new season of FLY FASHION Moana-style.

I would love to see her as the next bachelorette, for all the reasons you mentioned. I loved just about everything she wore..

I also liked her dress. Yeah, it was a little flashy, but it was very flattering on her...I thought.

I liked her dress too. I wouldn''t wear it myself. But I thought it made her look curvy in all the right places. It would have been better without the sparkles...but, I also thought it was flattering.

Moan-ana. Another whole season of her crying and whining. ugh. Girl needs some therapy! At 26 she still seems VERY young/immature.

On their last date - you could see Travis have an out of body experience (running for the door!) as Moana dumped her emotional baggage right on him - and said every nice thing she could think of - hoping that's what he wanted to hear. Poor guy looked like a deer in headlights!

Scintillating...

*Oh* I liked the green dress - I thought it fit sarah beautifully, sort of sporty sexy. (I suspect it just didn't photograph well.)

Actually that was just his main look. He had it all the time. Drove me nuts. What''s going on behind those blank eyes?

It was really irritating too how Sarah kept trying to talk to him that last nite when they were cuddling and he''s like shh, shh, don''t say anything, etc. I was like gosh just let her speak, loser!

It always drives me nuts on every Bachelor where inevitably some of the chicks are like ''oh I can''t believe you chose so and so'' or ''so and so is not here for the right reasons''. What are the right reasons exactly? I appreciated that Moana never was like oh the other girls aren''t right for you or let''s talk about the drama in the house or whatever. She was like that''s done and I''m over it. I also really appreciated that in the last episode she was like yeah I could see how the girls wouldn''t like me, I was really hypocritcal etc...so many girls can''t admit that they do anything wrong (Ally G anyone?!).
I also thought this was one of Moana''s biggest strengths. Too many of the girls get caught up in what others are saying about them, how they are perceived by girls in the house...etc. Particularly bad are the ones that concern themselves about the other girls to the point that it gets them eliminated, ie. they freak out "what if he''s having a better time with so-and-so" or flat out asking him why he continues to pick so-and-so, or ''warning'' him that he''s being used by certain girls.....let him figure it out and use your time to have him get to know YOU!!!! That one young Canadian girl that had the instant chemistry with Travis...I think her name was also Sarah...besides the age/living with parents factor, I felt that she really succumbed to this and became obsessed with badmouthing Moana, and that was to her detriment. I''m sure it''s hard not to feel those things in such a weird, competitive dating environment, but it can be done and I thought Moana was very good at that.

wow, i just skimmed through some major anaylsis!

here are my thoughts:

1) moana is extremely narcissistic. and she tried way to hard to be above it all. if you are that above it, don''t go on the show, just take a trip to paris.

2) sarah is sweet, but i couldn''t bare to see the thumbs up, thumbs down turn around dance again!!!! ahhh

Stupid and petty question, but what did you guys make of the comments Travis made to Moana as she was cooking dinner? (about her cooking every night for all the girls and they still hated her)....she had some lame response, and I''ve been thinking... do you think she really did so much cooking, cause I didn''t see it!

First, I didn''t care much for either woman, but I was glad that Moana didn''t win. She was really starting to drive me nuts by the end. She seemed incredibly inauthentic to me throughout-- her whole attitutde at the beginning that she wasn''t really interested in Travis or the experience seemed so false, like she was trying to say, "oh, look at me, I''m so rebellious, dark, and unusual, I don''t care about anything". I think she tried very hard to cultivate the Mysterious Woman persona and it just didn''t ring true for me. And then when she starting in on how she could see her soul reflecting back in Travis and that her feelings for him rocked her to her core --- OY! It was just one cliche after another. I''m a fairly emotional, sensitive person, so that isn''t what bothered me about her; it was how disingenuous she seemed. Having said all that, they''re all nuts for going on a show like that thinking they''ll find "true love". You have to wonder, who ARE these people?!?

I STILL cannot believe she could not come up with ONE single trait she liked about Travis, besides his amazing ability to reflect her soul in her eyes that is!

OMG I was so over the whole reflecting the soul thing as well, she must have said that what? About 10 times. Or maybe they just kept replaying it. As much as I liked her in many ways, the over-the-top emotion was not my cup of tea at all.

Greg told me ''If you ever said anything like that to me I would have just booted you out the door''. I said ''don''t worry I highly doubt my mouth is actually capable of uttering words that sappy''. He was like ''GOOD''. So I guess we are a good pair.
