Anyways, my ring is is a total of 1.64 ct. The center is a 1.04 RB early european cut. It was my fiance''s grandmother''s stone. The setting was purchased and set with the heirloom center. There are two .20 side stones and 3 paves on each side. There is intricate detailing, in a royal antique style.
There is a significant carbon inclusion in the center stone which cannot be seen in the photos. It''s what makes it unique
It is a family heirloom, so I cherish it even with an imperfection!
One day I may decide to replace the center with a cushion cut or princess cut.
It''s only taken me a year to figure out how to post a picture! Anyway. This is my ering. And heirloom stone, .67ct K SI1. I had her reset last year for our 20th anniv. from a yg solitaire to a wg split shank with an octet head. Hopefully the pic will actually show up.
This is Elizabeth Marie, 1.43 ct, brownish/pink chunky facet diamond cut in the 30''s or 40''s, set in her new rose gold mounting. A dear friend found her and thought I might like to have her....boy, did I! The cut is amazing and she flashes color like mad. She is named after my dear friend.
Daniel M, on Etsy, created the perfect simple rose gold setting for this vintage beauty.
I''ll post better photos as soon as my camera charges up.
I found my e-ring at a pawn shop. I took it to be resized and the jeweler seems very impressed with it. Well I know I am! I lovelovelove my ring and the man who gave it to me.
