Just got the pictures from whiteflash today! Who says that a ring has to be 1+ carat to be beautiful? I love it!

I have so enjoyed looking at everyone''s rings the past few months, especially the asschers! I now know how extremely difficult it is to try to capture the beauty of a three-dimensional object with a camera. I wish you could all see the light, depth, and color in this asscher! It''s truly mesmerizing. I never thought I would like this setting, and if I saw it online, I would never want it. But in the jewelry store, it just seemed so perfect. It''s so beautiful in person, the camera could never capture that. Thanks everyone for sharing, I have loved this thread! And the last pic of my asscher . . . .
I love the side view of the asscher ring - it shows off the whole of the diamond beautifully. I don't like prong settings that put bars across the stone and so hide it from view. And this from someone who went for a full bezel ring setting!
Still, I never claimed to be logical.
