Hi Ladies. Could you please add me to the list?

Some backgound: I''ve been dating my SO for 1 year 10 mos (yes, i''m counting). We''ve been talking about getting married since about 6 mos into our relationship, so naturally I thought that we''d get engaged after a year (early on we both said we would want to date for at least a year before getting engaged). Well at the year point he had just started a new job....so he said he wanted to get settled in the job before getting engaged...okay...I understand that....Then October came around (4 mos later) and still no ring, but we did start looking at rings.....I thought we''d be engaged before the holidays...December rolls around and I asked when he saw us getting engaged....he says early next year.....I had a couple of melt downs around christmas and new year, but we made it and I vowed not to talk about getting engaged until after valentine''s day...thought for sure I''d have my ring by then.....Valentine''s weekend is here and he says "where are we getting married" (we want a intimate destination wedding). I say well I haven''t really decided cuz we''re not engaged yet...he says its coming....later same day in other discussions about engagement, asks me if I would mind helping him pick out my ring (but that he''s not ready to buy just yet, money is tight, but he wants to know what I want for when he is ready) ........next day I ask to go to a large B&M jeweler cuz I saw a ring I like online but want to see it in person ......they didn''t have the ring, but we ordered the wax mold of it (a deposit required but with a full refund if we decide not to order the real deal)....well its in now and we are going to look at it this weekend......He doesn''t have a diamond picked out and the ring will take over 4 weeks to make...bottom line is if he doesn''t order it this weekend I may lose it! (my mind not the ring)

Our two year anniverisary is coming up in May and I want to be married this summer. I''m tired of talking to him about getting or being married I just want it to happen already.......I want him to tell the world that YES HE LIKES ME THAT MUCH. I haven''t given him a deadline cuz I feel like that is forcing him into it. But I really am at the end of my rope. Sooooo please wish me luck and send lots of dust my way.... hopefully my stay here will be short.

This may be the strangest request ever, but I want to add my daughter to the list!

She has a wonderful new boyfriend, and he told her that he loves her this weekend!

I am thinking this won''t be too long of a process if all continues to go as well as it has thus far! Lots of talk already about future goals and plans! He is 4 years older than she is and his best friends are already married or engaged, so he has that mindset.

She doesn''t have time to get on PS at this point, but we can list her as DiamondseekersDaughter for now. Even if she never gets on the forum, I''ll definitely be on the Brides forum to get help with wedding planning from all the experts if and when that time comes!!!
