Hopefully my stay on the list will be fairly short. FF and I have been talking about and looking at rings recently, but I don''t think he has the ring yet. He definitely wants to pick it out on his own and surprise me, which I love except for the waiting part! I think it will be coming in the next couple of months though, as we are already talking seriously about getting married this December and I don''t think he wants to kill me with having to plan the whole thing in only a few months. He asked me the other day if 9 months would be an acceptable amount of time, so I take that as a good sign!

I hope I am doing this post correctly (I''m not so great with computers)! My boyfriend and I have been together for about a year and a half now, he works full-time in business and I am a graduate student. We''ve got a dog, a cat, and a really nice, simple little life together thus far up here in the Rockies. We knew we were eachother''s "ones" probably just a month or two into dating. He really is my best friend and I cannot wait to marry him!

So for the exciting stuff -- we are planning on getting engaged this spring and as a result, have been lurking on these boards for a few months now and looking at different designers, merchants, etc. What a wealth of information! I had been looking at both Leon and Brian designs, Leon being my absolute favorite but Brian being a second close, showing my guy different designs, and the both of us talking about what would be special for the ring. It''s been a lot of fun! Well, my guy let slip this weekend that my diamond (yup, he''s got the rock! yay!) is at Leon''s shop and the setting is being made! YAHOO! I burst out in tears and jumped for joy around our house like a maniac. I don''t think he expected me to freak out quite like that! He did say that if I reacted half like that when he proposed that he would be a happy man!

I''m on Cloud 9 and so happy to be a part of LIW. Hello to all!

(that is if all the transactions goes well) Then we have to get the diamond set and then resize it.. and then he has to propose! So I''m looking at about a two month minimum? Still can''t wait!

My boyfriend has been talking about proposing for the last couple weeks now. He wants to look at rings this weekend.

He''s so excited he can hardly contain himself. His friends are all of a sudden super sweet hmm... and all of his fam members are suddenly sending me friend request on Facebook hmm...

so I''m guessing something is stirring. He recently confided that he knew he wanted to marry me after our very first date ))).

I always said that I wanted to marry the man that thought he was lucky to have me.

I have been engaged once before 4-5 years ago and it was the other way around. My ex had me in limbo hell for 4 years while he changed his mind from week to week. Looking back on that nightmare, I know now that I finally waited for the right guy.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone and that it''s all been a whirlwind so far. I''m estactic of course and he keeps hinting about a special "day" coming up and that could be either his b-day who knows. But i''m hoping it will happen by the summer.
We have even talked about the wedding date I told him I needed a year to plan, So we are looking at June 2011.
I''m just going to sit back and enjoy every bit of this.
