Sunny - to much partying?

we didnt go out for halloween this year, which i was pretty bummed about. but i wasnt about to go to someone else''s house (not a costume party) to sit around and drink, when i could do that at home instead.

But we decided to unpack all the wedding gifts and start using them. Hahaha!!

It''s funny because my Dad is the only one that doesn''t drink but he''s always the one that ends up in trouble! My Dad just thought it was pretty funny so he was going around showing people and just about showed it to BF''s Mom and I grabbed the phone and hid it. Pretty embarassing but it could have been worse because you never know what''s going to come out of my Dad''s mouth. It was cartoon **** but still maybe not the best first impression.

Fabulous! Except that I was always very aware that I wasn''t wearing pants. That was kind of awkward.

B and I are in a bit of a scramble to re-work our schedules, because we just now noticed that the plane tix we bought (in July) for Thanksgiving weekend are leaving at total red-eye hours, a day earlier than we thought. I don''t even know how we did that, but instead of leaving late Wednesday evening, we''re leaving at 4am on Wednesday morning. Oops

Yeah, I have no idea how that happened! We thought we were booking one that left at 6:55p.

It''s not a big deal, unless I get that job that I''ve been waiting to hear from. Then I have the awkward situation of having to request off *right* after starting, for no other reason than we didn''t double check our flight times.

I cannot focus on work today either! Right now I am taking a break and looking at stuff for Christmas presents.

My family is all over the place so I need to get a move on!

I do have some ideas in mind. I do need to get stuff sent to my sister in Berlin (my brother-in-law is from there) and her hubby. I''m in the midwest and everyone else (3) are in CA with one sib here and the sis I mentioned in Germany. So out of 5 sibs and 5 nieces/nephews I have a lot of work to do! But fun

that part i do enjoy!

Wow. J was excited to register for stuff! We didn''t end up actually doing it, but now whenever we walk through a department store with sheets and bedding he gets bummed that we didn''t do the traditional registry.

J and I are buying a brand new mattress this weekend!!! The one we have currently is so old, I think J may have actually been conceived on it.

I can''t WAIT for a good night''s sleep!
