I get my new couch tomorrow! Yay! I''ve been waiting for months!
My firm is having some black tie dinner on Saturday but now I don''t know if I feel like dressing up and I don''t think SO has gotten a tux

Last night was amazing. I actually found out yesterday that I got the promotion I applied for, so I got to celebrate! And tonight I''m going out with my Ultimate girls for even MORE fun! I''m pretty excited.

I''ve also gotten almost no work done so far today. Oops.

I have done 0% holiday shopping. But in all fairness, I just got done shopping for my brothers birthday yesterday, and my BF''s brothers birthday is December 10 so those are taking priority right now.

I''ve done zero shopping as well. My Aunt, Mom & Sister have shopped on black Friday every year for like 15 years. We pretty much go just so at 11:00 we can go to Mexican food and drink the big beers and eat chips & salsa but we do get some good deals and watching the psycho people is very entertaining. BF and I are not exchanging. We both think x-mas gifts are out of control and it should be about the kids. I think Mini will be getting something for the backyyard like a swing or a playhouse or a trampoline. Otherwise I don''t really buy for many people. Family time and food is all I care about! OK and wine!

I'm getting my BF some car parts he wants. Besides that, he's in the 'want nothing, need nothing' camp too. It's so hard to buy gifts for him, and I'm usually a great gift-giver!

I'm also thinking about picking him up a super nice "manly" toiletry bag for when we travel.

They''re seriously awesome. I know they are all cheesy and infomercially, but they work perfectly. J made fun of mine too, and now he wants one!

The only thing I''d like better would be for it to be a thicker/better fabric. Thats why I''m checking out the Slanket!
