Now...off to do the million errands I was supposed to three hours ago! Cake. Eyebrows. Buy towels...

*smoochies* to all y''all slackers! Goddddd, do some work already!

<3
Happy Thanksgiving Bia!

(In the last 3 1/2 hours I printed a page of a form and even walked down the hall to get some drywall screws from the maintenance guy. Does that count as work?)
It does today!

(914): There''s a girl in my class named ''La-a'' pronouced ''Luh Dash uh'' I hate everyone
That has to be worst name in history. Except that it is quite creative. Except Mary Coxuker. True story.

That''s horrible.

marching sub convo continues...

we got rid of our decades old wool ones my junior year (which was your senior year lol). no more baldrics! but the new plumes had special care... and they were white and came in cardboard tubes. it was effectively a lecture on the proper way to remove a very large tampon from a tube.
The wool ones weren''t AS awful in the winter. They were pretty baggy so lots of room for warm layers underneath. (not that any amount of layers helped much in the cold rain and ice during football season)

I got lucky in one way. Too many chin straps broke, there weren''t enough for everyone anyway, and the budget didn''t allow for much so....
All we had to wear on our heads was a baseball cap in the school''s colors (gold hat with purple lettering).
layers helped everything but the hands
8.gif
And the feet.

The shoes I was assigned were WAY too small for me (and we weren''t allowed to trade for others that fit -- Who had that bright idea???) so only the thinnest of socks would work.

Come to think of it, I wonder if the frozen feet was the reason my legs always got so cold.

What did you play?

I played clarinet in marching band. In concert band I went between clarinet & bass clarinet depending on what was needed.

I just choked on my sandwich. Thanks Sunny.

I am going to check out BWW. I whole heartedly love drama, when it involves other people that is!

What? First I can''t keep up w/ this thread today then you all abandon me?

Does anyone ever:

See a thread in SMTR and really want to respond w/: That is the fuggliest ring in the world!? Or in BWW see a dress or something posted and you really want to say: That is so disgusting and fugly, get a wedding planner!?

Am I just really evil and mean?

I''m still here! And still confused about the thread Elle is referring to...

No. You''re honest. But "If we cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all"

And then post about it on facebook later.

Don''t worry, I am too. I get confused easily though. I am not confused about this stupid retard that just came in and stunk up my office because he basted himself in his designer imposter cologne.

I can''t!!

Excellent. Already on it. Hahaha!

Wah, I''m bored. Can I crash the LIW small talk thread party today?

And, yes, I do NOT agree with everyone''s choice of rings, or dresses (especially the dresses). But that happens in real life, too. You just can''t say to your dear friend, "I''m sorry, the wedding gown you''ve fallen in love with makes you look like a pregnant potato..."

I plead the fifth.

Usually I just don''t say anything. Then again, sometimes I see something I really love (LP''s wedding dress for example) and don''t say anything either. So with stuff I like, it just depends on what kind of mood I''m in.

BigT you''re alive!

I''m the same way. Not loving it = zipped lip. Loving it = say something if I''m not feeling lazy.

Story of my life

Yah, I'm half alive.... supposed to be studyin' for finals. Oh, the HUMANITY!!!

Hey, if the preggers potato look is what you're going for, who am I to judge? I'm no fashion plate! ;)

I also feel more need to comment when i LOVE something someone has posted. I'm not very tactful with my negative opinions...

ETA: Oooh, Freke, you still haven't posted pictures??

Bye Squirrly.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Can I go now? What should I make for dinner? My Dad is coming over.
