Random question:

You know how when you''re shopping online, they''ll show like 12 items per page? And some give you the option to ''Show All'' or maybe ''Show 60 per page''

Why would you NOT show more per page? Does anyone really only like looking at 10-12 items per page?
Seriously. The less time it takes me to look at everything, the less annoyed I am with the site.

Elle, I think they do it because of people's bandwith issues. By only having 12 as the default most connections can load the images quickly or reasonably fast. More images will take more time to load...

ETA: but yes, this is annoying and I love the "All" option.

He''s a big teddy bear...seriously a baby. He''s about 60 lbs and his favorite place is in one of our laps. Here he is as a little midget...we found him on puppyfind.com. His right ear is still crooked.

**does a cartwheel** TA-DAH!!!!!

B''s speakers are done! (He actually finished them last weekend.)

They sound GOOD. Much better than what we had been using for front channels. Which means we can finally get rid of this set of speakers he''s been hauling around with all sorts of bad memories attached (and I get the closet space back)!!!!

Here is a picture of one of the speakers. There are two of them just like this.

wow, you made those?

And speakers carry bad memories???

wow, you made those?
B started with a couple of sheets of MDF, a box of speaker drivers & crossovers, and a sheet of veneer. He did all of the wiring & soldering for the wiring, cut the MDF for the outer cabinet and internal pieces, and put it all together. I helped him with some of the soldering and the veneer.

He sanded a piece of mahogany for each base and then it just got a clear coat to seal it up.

B purchased them after something unpleasant happened. I''ve heard their story many times now. You can tell by the way he looks at them sometimes that just seeing them & having them around reminds him of the bad event.

Wow, TP, you''re a better woman than I am! When I met DH he had his TV hooked up to a DVD player-stereo combination -- with 4 surround sound speakers (1 for each corner of the room). They were hideous! And they took up a ridiculous amount of space.

And now, we have no more surround sound.

Huh, I guess I''ve never thought of inanimate objects carrying bad juju or karma...

Ha, that''s the bonus to being married to a home theatre installer. I never have to think about anything electronic ever again!

Surround sound stays in the media room. Living room will NOT get more than 2.1 ever. Bedroom will NOT get speakers. Office will NOT get speakers.

If he had his way, we''d have 7.1 in every room of the house.
