I missed you too! (((((HUMONGOUS HUGGGGS))))

My break was great! Had pretty much two weeks off so that was really nice. I have to say though, it wasn't that restful. The holidays were stress inducing, and to be honest (though I've never thought I'd say this), I'm sort of glad they are over. It wasn't until after Christmas that I started to truly relax.

Happy it's 2010...looking forward to what the new year will bring. How about you guys???!!!

Glad your break went well - and yes I know exactly what you mean about being thankful that they''re over.

Our NYE was fun - just a few friends over to our place and we had a really good time.

J''s grandma died on Saturday so I am leaving work today at noon, and then I have tomorrow off. The wake is today and the funeral is tomorrow. He''s doing fine - they were not particularly close, we''re mostly going to support his dad.

And.... that''s all I''ve got!

). Hope everyone had a great new year celebration!

So, yeah, I have a friend - or a girl who used to be a friend - and all of her interactions with me seem to be a competition. I keep distancing myself from her, and then I forget how bad it makes me feel when I talk to her, so I "catch up" over coffee or drinks and then I come away feeling bad again. DH is right in that I need to just end the relationship. Last night he told me she brings out a side in me he doesn''t really care for.

And yes, rid yourself of friends who make you feel bad! I did that in 2009 and i can''t tell you how much better I feel. I had a *very* judgmental friend, and when i was around her, I''d be that way, and I''d judge myself harshly. She was such a downer. I can only talk about how fat people from high school got for so long before I start feeling badly myself.

Yea, there were a few people who went last year. One person (can''t for the life of me remember who) actually got married at one of the resorts we stayed at (Victoria House).

She''s also got a head bigger than the Capitol Building! And dear, you''re telling me...hopefully less than 3 months!

I just got the new Mario game on Thursday!! We had to go return the netbook DH got me because we opened it and the screen was cracked. I sweet talked him into the game when we were at BestBuy and he caved. Hehehe

I like it. I remember MB being more difficult, but that could be because I was 8 the last time I played it! DH isn''t into those games...

OMG, I so want the new Mario game!!! I got the Wii Fit for Christmas and it is so fun (or funny, it cracks me up to be moving around like a nut in my apartment, especially the hula hoop game).

Anyway, I''m still pretty swamped over here. Was able to take Christmas Eve and New Year''s Eve off but the rest of my vacation was shot...I''ll just be carrying over my vacation days and hope I get to use them soon!
