I guess I''ll go. I have questions that must be answered before I embark on another graduate program. I must be insane.

eta: I must secretly want to become a professional student.

I''d LOVE to be a professional student.

I''d really really love to get my PhD. But not in Engineering. I''d want to do Public Health. And I''m pretty sure I''d have to at least get my 2nd Masters (MPH) first.

I may have ruled out Law School. I just don''t have the motivation to even submit my applications...

Law school is gross!

I had a t-shirt puffy painting party! The carpet in our basement was ruined and my mom vowed never to let us puffy paint again. I also had a beaded jewelry-making party. That was fun!

And then I moved to a fancier neighborhood where the girls had mani-pedi parties at the salon.

see our generation rocked! we had fun doing normal, unclassy stuff. Ummmm make-your-own-pizza-and-sundae birthday party at Papa Gino''s anyone? My fellow Ma$$holes will know all about that one. Chucky Cheese? Burger King?

I was busy getting ready for our guest last night (did I mention we''ve got a guy staying with us for a few days?) so forgot about finding pictures.

After MUCH digging (page 70 of my Sent Items folder) I found some pictures. Okay, well bunches of cats and one with B.

So here is this one for now and I''ll find better when I get a minute (I''m at work, have stuff to do for school, and have a guest sitting at home alone -- sleeping if he is lucky).

B wasn''t feeling well so he is on the couch & Sven walked over and sat on him.

You''ve probably said before but how did you and B meet? I know he is quite a bit older than you so I was just curious. Cute pic, nothing better than kitty loves!

Wine glass charms? Nice lip balms are always good (like Burt''s Bees). Pocket-size tissues, especially if you have a family of criers, or hankies.

TP- vacation was wonderful

M and i spent the whole week pretty much being nothing but lazy which was great. we did go to austin but stayed in for new year''s eve (i was sneezing a lot earlier that day and decided taking benadryl would be a good idea. i forgot how benadryl works, but hey it''s hard to sneeze when you''re sleeping!) i''m a little bummed that i didn''t get to wear my red dress for him and go out somewhere fancy, but if he has to come to visit so we can do some pre marital counsiling stuff i''ll figure something out, if not i guess i''ll just have to find an excuse on our honeymoon, which i think i can manage

He left California yesterday morning about 6. Can''t remember the name of the town. Right near Napa Valley though.
Got about 2 hours into the drive and his truck died. (needed a new fuel pump) So that delayed him.

He got in just before midnight.


WL -- B was an instructor at the school I attended after graduating high school. I finished 5 quarters before having to leave (family stuff & financial things). Got to know him a little bit during that time. We kept in touch some after that and (after a long story) ended up together.

I have 2 portions of mylar blanket hanging in my office...they pass them out after you finish half and full marathons when it''s colder than like 50 degrees out...so I have them from my first half marathon (San Antonio, November 200 and my second half (Virginia Beach, March 2009).

I run/walk. So I run for 4 minutes, power walk for 2...repeat for ~3 hours (so 30 times) to travel 13.1 miles.
