Some 16 year old last night had on a black strapless tube dress, flip flops, and a tie.

She looked more like Avril Lavigne than HP!

Wasn''t she cold?

She HAD to have been. I was cold with jeans and a long sleeve tshirt.


When you''re that young, temperature is irrelevant. I ''LOL'' at the college freshmen in my area that run around in January in Michigan with mini skirts, halter tops, and uggs. Sorry honey, those uggs are doing NOTHING for you.

My roommates and I used to sit on our porch and laugh at the herds of underdressed freshmen. We''d totally mock them for their shoe choices (either UGGs or way uncomfortable heels).

It''s terrible and hilarious all wrapped into one. I mean... it seriously is like 15-20 degrees out, and i see bare legs and arms! They all stand in line at the couple of stupid clubs around here shivering, rubbing their arms, and jumping up and down to keep warm.

Put. On. Pants.

There WERE kids wand fighting up in front of the screen before the movie came on.

There was a sign at the theater ''NO WAND PLAY''

I never used to get them. In the past year, I think I''ve gotten them 4 or 5 times. First 3 years of our relationship? Not once!

I never get flowers delivered to me, but FI does bring them on his way home from work once a month or so...does that count?

I''m torn, because it''s been an AWFUL summer, and between summer school, the engagement party and getting sick, I''ve been having mini breakdowns every day. A little vacay to Vegas would be nice...

That''s how my old office was.

There was also a lady who either had an overzealous husband or was sending flowers to herself for attention. She got a giant display of flowers on a very regular basis, sometimes 2-3 days in a week.

my SO never got me flowers.... wait no we were grocery shopping and we walked by the flowers and he was like "hey want some roses" hahaha
but then he does other sweet things like suprised me with little blue freshwater pearl earrings and always su[[orts my nerdy habits (he suprised me by getting me my warboss for 40k)
so I guess he does do the little gestures, just different

Freke - GO!!! Maybe stay in a less expensive hotel and don''t gamble as much, but I say it''s worth it to get away for a mini-vacation if you''re feeling stressed out. DH and I didn''t want to spend so much money and I thought it was a waste when we went to California over Memorial Day weekend but it was so much fun and totally made a difference. We came home stress-free and it really has kept us going this whole stressful summer.

+1. Take a mini break somewhere new and explore, and save Vegas for the wedding. Sometimes exploring someplace new is a great way to really focus on being together.
