Oh! So this weekend FI, bro, SIL and myself took a dance class! I thought it was going to be a salsa class but it wasn't - it was the basics. Literally - box steps. But it was fun watching my FI and brother try to dance. I kept telling FI, 'Baby, you have to LEAD!' because I pulling him around the dance floor lol.

Then my bro took us to Caribou Cafe for my birthday dinner (French restaurant in Philly) - it was really Yummy. BUT! The best part was, they then took me to Max Brenners for dessert. Has anyone been there? Well, let me put it this way...it is like dying and waking up in chocolate heaven. No joke. Really, no joke.

I had the most amazing hot chocolate with marshmellows and we shared chocolate fondue with fruit with and roasted our own marshmellows. And FI got this amazing chocolate molten cake. Bro got a waffle with chocolate sauce and whipped cream and a bunch of other things. It was amazing!!!!

Yesterday we saw Crazy Heart - GREAT MOVIE!!!

Ok. First off... you have not had dessert until you've had dessert at Craft Steak in Vegas.

If our GTG is there, Bia, that will be our first date.

Second... I'd be terrified to take a dance class. I'm SO uncoordinated!!!

Yeah! There's one in Union Sq. I would be completely in favor of meeting there!

ETA: According to the website, they are opening one in Vegas and one in Boston.

We got a package deal because SIL and I really want to learn to Salsa well. The boys have to come too because they never want to dance! We''re going again in Feb!!! It was hilarious though...I must admit. FI was sooo stiff! I was like, ''You''re PRICAN!!!! This is not right!''

I ordered them from swoozies.com. They have a feature where you can order individual invites! They''re $1.50 each, plus $10 in printing for every 10 invites. It worked out awesome for me, since I needed all of 8 invites for the party, lol.

In other news, A is really really sad right now that we won''t see his family for a long time. He''s such a family-centered guy. His dad and one brother moved to Arkansas about 6 months ago when his dad got a new job, and his mom and other brother should be moving down there sooner than later. But it''s so out of the way to go there...we just can''t fit in a trip with all the wedding planning trips we''ll need to make to KC this summer. So I''m hoping they''ll be able to make it up the same weekends we''re there for planning. My heart breaks for him when he gets homesick.

Being far from my family IS very hard - and I see them once every month/month and 1/2 or so. Thank God my brother isn''t too far otherwise it would be extremely tough.

2 or 3 times a year? Well, my parents I see 2-3x a year.

I might see my brother a little bit more than that. He lives near me, unlike my parents!

We only see his family 2-3 times per year. I get to see mine 4-5 b/c my mom and sister have the means to travel here as well, when his family really doesn''t.
