My cycles have not been properly documented...like ever, but this definitely feels longer. It''s been 40-something days at this point!

I *just* got the chance to check in!

Sunny...I know my cycles go wonky (I''ll skip one, even on BC) if I''m stressed out. I''ve skipped twice: once when I met A''s family, and once over Xmas when we were with my uber stressful family. So stressing over something leading up to vacay may have done it.

But I agree with everyone else...wait a few days and if AF doesn''t show up, test again in the AM!

Oh, and HH and I got married, and so did T and HDG!

We had lovely parties.

Sunny, to be honest now that I''ve done a lot of reading and talked to my step sisters (one is a doula and one got negative hpts and blood tests until she was 11 weeks), I''m half expecting to go into my appointment and be 12 weeks instead of 8. I know it''s not likely, but I''ve been reading a lot of stories about women who thought they got their period but it was just very heavy spotting. We will see...There''s just no other reason for my long cycle, I''ve never had one like that and I was off BCPs for over a year with like-clockwork cycles. Nothing changed that month either in terms of stress, or illness. So don''t stress over it, just keep an eye on things.

I'm here! And considering my lack of productivity yesterday (typical for the first Monday of the Federal Bi-week) I am not looking forward to attacking the pile of crap to do this biweek.

Elliptical was OK. I couldnt get it to work at first because I''m a treadmill girl and "quick start" turns on a treadmill. That button does NOT turn on an elliptical.

You have to actually start using it. The guy next to me showed me, so I said thanks and was on my way. 30 seconds in I was thinking "There is NO way I can do this for 30 minutes" my legs were KILLING me. About 10 minutes of suffering in, my muscles loosened up and it became a bit easier. I''m not sore right now, but I fear for tomorrow.

I''m hoping if I keep doing the elliptical my booty will be rockin'' for the b-pics!

Did you use one of the ones where you can change the incline, or where your feet stay at the same angle the whole time?

I''ve been using them since they came out, so they''re second nature to me, but the ones with the fixed-angle footplates don''t match my natural stride and they feel weird, lol. I can go like a madwoman on an elliptical...I''ll probably be on one for 50-60 minutes tonight.
