Is anyone familiar with this brand?

I would love to see some photos from owners.

I am intrigued by the shape, and would appreciate comments on how it compares to an ideal round in terms of fire, brilliance and "face=up" size.

Any information is appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Rosetta!

We don't see too many of those here, there are a few threads in the archives but I couldn't seem to find any pictures for you....But maybe there are some Lucere owners out there that can chime in!

I did find this though, GOG can obtain Lucere - www.goodoldgold.com/4Cs/Shape/lucere/

goodness, something not common on PS!

It''s a pretty stone and they used to let us sell it online, but then some of their brick and mortar retailers flipped out and they have prohibited online sales

Cutter sets MSRP

I looked at Luceres for my ering, but they were so overpriced because they were a brand name stone. I would have only been able to get a 1.5 ct Lucere for the price I got my 2 ct RB for. However, they were very beautiful.

Do know that they face up extremely small for their carat weight, like asschers.

Someone on PS posted a pic of their .8 ct Lucere in SMTR, but that was a couple of years ago - you would really have to dig to find the picture, but the ring was beautiful.

I do think that they are beautiful stones (they carry them at 2 jewelers near me) but they are very expensive since they are a branded cut, and they will face up smaller than rounds or even princess cut stones, so I think that you have to really love the cut to settle for a very expensive stone that will look much smaller than it is.
