OK, maybe I''m outta the loop (since most of my waking hours are spent poring over medical related literature instead of keeping up with real-world events), but I just saw that Peter Jennings died on Saturday. I''m kinda sad. Lung cancer is certainly a formidable enemy...he only announced his diagnosis back in April...4 months later, he''s gone. It''s funny, I remember when I saw him announce it on the news, I kinda wondered if it would be very long. May he rest in peace.

I''ve seen this first hand...Lung cancer is an especially voracious, horrible killer. I hope he didn''t suffer too much.

I really liked him and hope that he passed in peace. I lost my best guy friend to cancer and it''s something I wouldn''t wish on anyone. May he rest in peace, he will be missed.

I admired his professionalism and his intelligent news reporting, surely one of the last great anchors. So sad for him and his family, may he rest in peace.

I thought he had grace and polish. I wish him a speedy journey to heaven and hope it did not suffer too much. My heart goes out to his kids and his wife.
