Drk-- I''m so sorry for you loss. You and your DH are in my prayers.

Sabine-- Happy Birthday to you!

Fisher -- Martha is in my prayers as well.

Festy -- Touching article. Thank you for posting it!

CD 19 for me...temps went up again so I think it''s safe to say I O''d. Hoping for crosshairs tomorrow. Baby dust to everyone in the 2ww

Fisher I''m so sorry about your MIL. It is so hard when close loved ones are ill, we are dealing with this in our family too. I agree that you MIL may help you keep the secret when the time comes, it will make her feel special and give her something to think about other than her health!

fisher - your MIL is in my thoughts and I think that she''d keep your *special* secret. Hoping for the good news soon!!

Fisher,

I''m really sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. Hopefully you will have some good news to share with her when you feel the time is right. Your temps do sounds promising!

Fisher - so sorry to hear about your MIL and hope she gets well soon! She sounds like she''ll make a wonderful grandmother someday (hopefully soon!). Your temps do sound very promising. Can you post your chart?

Kate - my thoughts are with you. I do hope that you can find the strength to keep trying and know we''ll be here for support. I pray for your next little bean to be a sticky!

DRK:

I''m so sorry.

to everyone else. I''m in "down" town lately, and have been staying away from Nest/Bump/PS places because I''m not doing myself any good lately. Hope all are doing well, and I wish those four (?) who are in the 2WW the best!

Welcome to all the new gals!

Fisher- I''ll keep your MIL in my prayers.

Amber- Thanks for checking in. You do what you need to do...just know that you are missed!

Thank you to everyone''s thoughts and prayers for Martha. It really means a lot, to me and to Paul, and to her. She''s strong and has the best spirits about this; it''s amazing and a real testament to her strength. I don''t think I''d be able to handle the situation with nearly as much grace as she has. I guess it really is true that the things that knock you down show your true strength and spirit. Hers is gold, I tell you.

Last night we took a care package to her, things to do in the hospital (travel size games, suduko, crosswords, fill in the blank), fluffy slippers, magazines, gum, almonds (great for the body!!), chapstick, and silly putty. I LOVE silly putty! It made her smile, so that was cool. They say she should be able to come home by Thanksgiving, so that''s awesome.

Tonight Paul is with Martha and I had to work late, so I missed the trip to visit. I''m sad to not visit, but am going to take advantage of the opportunity to nap. I''m so sleepy!!!

I can post my charts. I have only had two days of elevated temps, so I''m not holding out tons of hope, but I''m not going to lie, I really am hoping that I have a baby growing in me right now. What a blessing, and talk about the best timing!! Any time is the best time, but I''m just so hopeful. Paul and I were talking about it on the way home last night; I can''t even fathom the reality of actually being pregnant. I''m excited and hopeful, but somehow, when it does come, I think I''ll take ages for it to sink in that the blessing''s finally found its way to me. Haha. I''m all emotional and acting stupid over here, smiling and crying at the same time. I swear, I need some sleep!!

Here is last cycle''s chart:

And this is this cycle's chart, so far:

(I tried to post them side by side, but I can't figure it out. Sorry.)

Oh wow, that looks great Fisher!! Aren''t many (if not most) pregnancy charts triphasic? Maybe DD can answer that. :) When are you going to test?

Haven,

I was thinking Gettysburg Address. Haha. My husband would *so* do something like that!

Cute name, cute picture of the little guy, too!

Peony,

I''ve still not bought anything to tempt me to POAS.

I have the coupon in my purse all the time, but I''m just not wanting to test until Sunday. Sunday somehow seems right to me. That would be 13 days past ovulation.

Paul is spending the night at the hospital with his mother on Saturday night so his father can go to church on Sunday, so I don''t know if I''ll test without him here or not.

I think I could cave in tomorrow and at least by the tests, though. I don''t know. I''m kind of tired of the let down each cycle, so I figure why bring it on even sooner?

Here''s a funny story, considering how much we all hate to see the dreaded period: I keep hoping for implantation bleeding. Haha. No clue what I''m supposed to see, but there''s nothing there.

I thought triphasic would imply there was a clear sign of implantation (which I know DD just said early this week is kind of a hoax to a degree), also. I don''t have any sign of implantation, ie: dippage in my chart. I thought the "tri" implied ovulation shift, implantation shift, and then the last shift.

At this point, my cycle fooled me last time around (fake out ovulation), I figure this time it''s trying for another jab.

Haha. I''ll take it in good spirits. One day it will run out of cheap tricks!!

Fishie, triphasic would just mean that you have one group of low pre-O temps, one group of higher post-O temps, and another group of even higher temps starting around 7-10 dpo. I think about one or two higher temps would make that chart triphasic, no implantation dip required!

I don't think most preg charts are triphasic, but if it is triphasic it has a better chance of being a pregnancy chart than not. It's definitely not set in stone though - my chart was triphasic the cycle BEFORE I got pregnant, for example. But damn. I really hope this is it for you.

ETA- I'm sorry about your MIL. The care basket sounds really sweet.

Not to get your hopes up Fisher, but that sure looks like the beginning of a triphasic pattern to me! Blen is right about it being 3 distinct groups of temps, each getting higher than the last. Yay! I''ll be keeping your MIL in my prayers as well.

Happy Friday, everyone. It''s cold and rainy here today and I so didn''t want to get out of bed. It''s also so hard to get up when it''s completely dark out. Time change is something I''m not a fan of, but at least it will make it somewhat daylight when I have to get up.

So, today''s temp was also higher and in the range that the last two have been. 98.62 today.

Odd, indeed.

I told Paul about the triphasic thing (after I read about it, because I had no clue it even existed) when he got home from the hospital last night. He kind of chuckled and said he hoped it was a *sign,* but he''d hate to see me get my hopes up so much when I''ve really been doing well this cycle with not getting overly emotional about things. True enough.

In other news, I think I''ll be using my coupon finally! I am still planning to wait until Sunday to test, though. I figure an FRER should be a relatively correct reading at 13 DPO. I''ve never used an FRER, though. So, I''m just going off what I''ve read by my trusted friends here.

Amber,

I forgot to post to you last night when I was reading through the last few pages. I''m sorry things have been murky lately. It''s no fun and I don''t have anything to offer as to how to pop out of it, because sometimes that''s just where you need to be for a while, before you do pop back up. Know that struggles are only for a passing moment in time, and I know you have a good hubby to support you. And, might I add, an adorable doggie, too!

Sometimes my best times of getting out of a funk I''m in involve playing with my dogs. They do the silliest things, and all they ever want is some love and attention. (And to be out of the rain. They''re howling for me to let them back in from their morning potty break right now.) TaDah!! is an almost 6 pound chihuahua and he has this stuffed animal squeaky toy, an elephant, and he loves that thing. He''ll roll around with it, pounce on it (learned that from the cat), bark at it, make it squeak, drag it everywhere he goes, then out of no where, just start going to town humping it. He''s a total nut!!

Anyway, I better get the pups out of the rain.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning All:

Fisher -- The care package you and your DH made for your mom sounds like so much fun! I bet she was happy to get it. Your chart looks great this month! I so hope there is a little bean in there and you get your BFP on Sunday!

As for me -- it''s CD20. Got my crosshairs today, so I''m happy! Now the wait begins...

Fisher, I can''t wait for you to test!!! I have a really good feeling about this cycle for you! Your chart is looking awesome! I have a feeling I''m going to be sitting at my computer Sunday morning hitting refresh

Thanks, Amber!

Just poping in to say sorry about your MIL Fisher but on a positive note, your chart looks GREAT! Good luck on the big test this weekend! I''ll be checking in!

That GL also goes for you other kintters!!

Fingers crossed for you all!

Amber - Miss you, but understand that you need your space. Thinking of you all the time (hug)

Fisher, good luck to you!!! I will be crossing my fingers for you. I''m not feeling very optimistic about my chances today because my temp went down this morning, and these are by lowest post-O temps yet. I usually get sore boobs before my period, but I haven''t gotten those yet.

All I can tell about this cycle is that it''s way different than all of my others. I''m trying to stay optimistic though, because last month I had a "perfect" chart and I didn''t get pregnant either. I will be testing tomorrow.

Fisher - very, very nice chart!! I just cleared my schedule for Sunday. Any chance you might want to tell us WHEN on Sunday you'll be testing?
9.gif

InLuv - yay for crosshairs! Wanna post your chart?

Peony - I don't know if that's a drastic enough dip for you to be out of the running. Could it be one of those mid-LP dips? How long is your LP usually?

Btw, now that we know those dips aren't caused by implantation but sometimes coincide with it, shouldn't we come up with a new name for it? "Mid-LP" dip isn't really doing it for me. Any suggestions?

I'm CD20/5DPO and the intermittent, mild cramps are starting that had me convinced I was PG last cycle. I guess I can look forward to these for the next week.

ETA: Amber, feel free to come on back any time you feel ready. We'll all be here!

Just chiming in to say, "Congratulations, Robbie!"

And Fisher, your chart really does look good! Fingers crossed!

Hey Festy! I have a 14-15 day LP, but my dip is typically on day 5-6. I didn''t get one this time around. . .

Thanks, Sha!

Peony, well that dip is way too early to mean anything then.

ETA: Good luck tomorrow when you test!

Peony, hopefully the fact that this chart is different from your usual will be a good sign! We have a Saturday and a Sunday test to look forward to!

Peony- Good luck tomorrow! Thanks for posting about the Fertell test...DH and I both took them and "passed" which was a relief. I think it will make the waiting game much easier!

*****AWESOME NEWS ALERT!!!!*****

So, today I went to Walgreen''s after work to use my handy dandy $2 off coupon for FRER.

Well, I picked out the 3 pack for $17.99.

I love the day the crosshairs show up. It''s so exciting!!

Peony,

Good luck on your test tomorrow. Hoping good things (+) for you!!

Geesh, I''m nervous to test on Sunday. Funny, I''ve never been nervous to test before. I wonder what that means? Today I had a little bit of tightness/twinging in my lower abdomen. Could be the stupid period gearing up.

Thanks for all the positive thoughts, everyone. I''ll test Sunday morning, unless I get ants in my pants and do it tomorrow morning. For now, I''m feeling okay with waiting until Sunday, though.

I don''t know how you can hold out Fisher. I would be doing it right now!!
