I''m waiting too, no early testing for me. Tons of baby dust to us both!

Okay, now I feel like I need a little history lesson from Robbie or Sabine. Were you guys best friends before PS? That is so great that you get to be pregnant together!

Huh, Robbie, you think it qualifies as triphasic? I guess I thought since the rise came around 5 DPO that it didn''t count or something. Does FF tell you if they think it''s triphasic? But to answer your question, no, I haven''t had one before!

Sabine, please post your chart!

Hmm, we are supposed to go out for sushi tonight...surely I''m ok to eat it at 10 DPO...I mean, IF I''m you know...

Festy, Sabine and I have known eachother since middle school, but became bffs sophomore year in hs (10 years ago, holy cow!) when we went to homecoming with guys who were bffs. Those relationships didn''t last very long, but our friendship sure has! FF won''t recognize any pregnancy signs unless they happen between 7 and 10dpo. This definitely doesn''t mean that you can''t have signs before or after though and I definitely think your chart is triphasic. If you''re really worried about the sushi you can always order cooked rolls!

oh man I''m such a deadbeat - I just logged in, and went back a few pages....and TAH DAH...Sabine''s BFP!!!!!! OMG Amazing Girl~
Congrats to you and DH!

Now take it easy

You''re body is going to be mighty busy in these next few weeks. Rest up~

Thanks for all the congrats! Now let''s just hope this one is a sticky bean!

Good luck to all who are in the 2ww!

Festy, I''ll post my chart when I get home from work...it''s going to be a crazy couple days at school since the kids are already in vacation mode...I wish I could be too!

Hmm, we are supposed to go out for sushi tonight...surely I'm ok to eat it at 10 DPO...I mean, IF I'm you know...

Festy, just FWIW women in Japan eat raw fish during pregnancy all the time. If you are in the US or the UK all fish must be frozen for 24 hours too which kills almost anything that might be on it. The reason they say no is because of parasites that can affect you especially with a compromised immune system. But freezing kills almost all of them and even if you were to get one, usually it's just a stomach bug type thing.

So even if you are preggo it isn't the huge deal that some people make it out to be...as long as you are eating at reputable places you should be fine. But you can always eat cooked rolls instead if you are worried about it. Those are 100% fine.

SABINE- Congrats girl!!! Woo hoo- so excited for you, and for you and Robbie to go through this together. That''s awesome!

InLuv- Happy belated. Glad to hear it was a good one! Do anything special?

Fisher- I can''t believe you''re 5''10. I don''t know why, but I pictured you very petite. Maybe it''s all your crazy energy and excitement you seem to have! Really hope you get your birthday present you''ve been hoping for!

Amber- Your DH sounds so cute- I love when he said ok, then let''s get you a baby tonight. SO like a man. But you never know. Only takes once, right? Sounds like you had a nice couple of days.

I know I am forgetting a ton of people right now. I always forget to make notes before I start typing, and then can''t remember who said what and can''t go back and read. But am always reading and rooting each and every one of you on.

So any big Thanksgiving plans?? I am so excited for Thxgiving, love the holiday.

Happy almost birthdays to Fisher and DRK!

Festy, here is my chart, just for you!

Thanks China Cat!

Okay, so I caved and told another one of my friends. She said as soon as she saw I was calling, she knew! I just had to tell her because she has a 2 month old and I can hit her up for all kinds of baby advice!

pgchart.png

Thanks for posting your chart Sabine - btw - I noticed you don''t have any symptoms listed. Did you have any or do you remember some looking back now?

Just popping in quickly to give a big CONGRATS! to Steph and Sabine - I wish you both a happy and healthy pregnancy!

ChinaCat,

I''m not 5''10", but I''m also not petite. I''m 5''6" and I have a little extra baggage. Crazy energy. That''s me.

Festy,

Good luck, girl. Nice chart.

I''m hopin for you, girl.

Looks like there are a few of you who are testing soon. Good luck, ladies! I think there is a trend starting, I hope like mad it keeps up!!

Ditto - I am eating lots of sushi (with my OB''s full approval). I avoid eating a lot of tuna because of mercury levels, but salmon is my favourite anyway and I eat at decent places or do DIY and buy the fish from proper sushi fish shops.

It''s one of the very few things I don''t have an aversion to...

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks ladies for the Fertility Friend link. That site is awesome. I have plugged in my cycles and have a much better idea of when AF is due (hey, even keeping up with the lingo now

)

It worked out my estimated O dates, and now DF knows when to hide or stay separated by furniture, clothes etc from me

Thanks again and good luck to everyone TTC!!

Yay Sabine!! WOOHOO!! Congratulations on the BFP!

Fisher, weren''t you sick earlier this month? Maybe that pushed your ovulation back? I''m thinking about all you guys and lurking on the thread to keep up
2.gif
I''ll be joining you all soon. I finished my last pack of BC!!! Well actually this week is my "sugar pill" week. But I never take those anyways. So next week I could join the roller coaster and start temping!

Yay for Sabine''s digi test! Sorry guys, it was a low day today and I''ve been scrambling at work. too!

Sunkist: Yay for joining the DARK SIDE!!!!!

Sunkist,

Yay! I hope you join us soon. It''s nothing if not a rollercoaster, but it totally has its perks!!

Yeah, I''ve been sick and I''m still fighting it off. I have the coughs still, and a sore throat that comes and goes. I''ll get to feeling better, and then I''ll feel yucky again. I''ve not taken anything for it, so that''s probably part of why it''s lingering. I didn''t want to do anything to potentially harm a little baby. (Even though I know it wouldn''t matter this early on, I''m a protective mother to be, to be.)

Wow, I remember you posting about joining a while back and it seemed so far in the future. Time flies when you''re counting the days of baby-making potential, I suppose.

I read online (FF) today that there are some cycles where the shift to show ovulation can be sloping or slow, so I''m not giving up hope yet. I took all CM off the chart, in case I was charting wrong. But I can tell you this, whatever it was I was thinking of as fertile CM is long gone now.

Hey maybe my birthday present will be crosshairs.
9.gif
At this point, I''d be pleased with that.

In happy, happy news, it looks like Paul''s mom will be home and good to go during Thanksgiving. I''m so excited about that. She''s been taking this all like a trooper. I''d be crying and yammering on and on and she just smiles and says life is full of blessings and trials and we get some of both along the way. She rocks. And she''s going to get news that she''s going to be a grandmother one of these days, and that will be the happiest thing I can think of sharing with her!!

Which reminds me, Sabine, how long are you waiting before you tell people?
9.gif

Steph, I don''t know if you''re still visiting family, but I''ll be interested to know how you shared with them. Did you son wear the same shirt he used to tell his daddy?

Mia, no need to freak out. It''s perfectly normal. I believe it''s called a nabothian cyst (or something similar). They come and go, but are completely harmless.
Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! Robbie you were right, I looked it up and that is most likely what they are. I am relieved! I''ll just mention them at my next gyno appointment, but I''m sure it''s not a big deal.

Thanks again girls!

Honey, glad FF is working out!

Sunkist, yay for finishing bc! Here''s to hoping that your cycles aren''t wonky and that your stay here is short!

Fisher, I can''t believe your frustrating cycle this month. I''m frustrated for you! It''s not fair, but you are handling it like a trooper. Yay for your dh''s mom being able to spend the holiday with you, I''m sure it will do her a bunch of good.

Blushing, I did have some symptoms starting a few days after O (I don''t have the VIP membership though, so they don''t show on my chart). My boobs were sore from right before O on, but later they got more sore than they''ve ever been, and I was thinking they looked a little fuller too. But the 2 real symptoms that had me thinking was that my stomach had been feeling a bit off and nauseous all week (still does actually), and I suddenly had to pee a TON more. It was easy for me to notice that one, because as a teacher, I can really only go once a day during my plan period, and normally that is fine, but all of a sudden I started to need to go WAY earlier in the day.

Fisher, you and I are cra-azy chart buddies!

It looks like you did have an upward trend for a while, and it''s too bad that wasn''t the real O.

Peony, Hi, crazy chart buddy! Here's hoping next cycle we'll be non-crazy chart buddies!!

**
So, I'm wondering if it's possible to ovulate and not have your temps change enough for FF to make crosshairs. I ask because the following things have happened: my temps have been relatively the same for a few days now, there was a marked raise on CD 24 and the temps following that have been hovering around the same degree, my fertile CM is gone, and my cervix has dropped (best as I can tell, still trying to figure that out). I'm also wondering if the BBT is the end all and means that if all this stuff has happened and I still don't have a marked change in temps, and I was preparing to ovulate and just missed the boat this go-round. Anyone have any clue?

I'm tempted to stop the BD thing (good grief, it started November 10th), but then I'm not sure that I won't O *if I haven't already.*

**
In happy news, I don't have to work on my birthday, and then Thanksgiving holiday comes, so I'm not going back to work until Monday. Whoo hoo!! My supervisor made cupcakes for me, too. It was a fun day at the office (mostly).
9.gif

**
Sabine,

Are you still testing? I'm not sure I'd be able to help myself if I had extra tests around the house. I'm so excited for you!!

**
Steph,

Hope you're having fun with your family!! Congrats again.

**
Amber,

Is the gangreene gone yet? Hope you're feeling all better!!

Fisher, can you post your chart again? I think you would be okay to stop bding unless you start getting fertile cm again. I'm thinking that it might be possible to ovulate without a clear temp shift if there were other things going on to mess with your temps, but unfortunately I think it's more likely that you didn't ovulate. It's very possible you were gearing up to O and then didn't. How many days are you? I really hope this is not another ridiculously long cycle for you! (and you too Peony!)

I'm not testing anymore. Today my digital finally turned off/went blank/whatever it does, and that made me sad, so I thought about taking my last FRER, but I also don't like peeing into cups so I haven't done it! Haha, besides, maybe one of my other friends will need it soon if they decide to start trying...no idea if they really will, it's just fun to hope!

Sabine, it''ll be like passing the baby dust on since I gave you the digi! We should make a chain of it..,

Hey Sabine, congrats!!

Fisher, can you post your chart again? It''s interesting because according to fertility friend, sometimes after ovulation the temp rise can be as small as 0.2 degrees. But I think if it''s that small then maybe the charting software won''t recognize it? It might help us if we saw your chart. You said you had a small rise, so I''m wondering if you did indeed ovulate.

Hey guys, just popping in quickly before heading off to bed. Thanks for all the info on sushi. I did end up partaking and enjoying every minute of it!

Sabine, thanks for posting your chart and describing your symptoms. Bummer that there is no more testing for you...I can see how that would be a bit of a let down.

Robbie, thanks for the social history! I''m so glad for the two of you.

I had a big temp spike this morning but DH has convinced me not to take a test...I''m glad he did. Plus, no sore boobs for me. If they were sore I''d probably run out to the drugstore! Well, maybe one is a little bit sore.

I''ve missed a bunch of people! I hope you''re all doing well. If my temps are still high tomorrow I may test but I probably won''t be able to get back on line until Thanksgiving or thereabouts. Happy turkey day everyone!

CD?/11 DPO

Hi ladies! Happy Thanksgiving!

I''ve been so busy at work, I didn''t get the chance to keep tabs on this thread.

CONGRATULATIONS (tardy as it is) STEPH and SABINE!!

I particularly loved your stories -

steph, picturing your son standing at the airport and your husband''s face as he put it all together. what a wonderful moment!
sabine, there''s nothing better than to turn disappointment into a happy ending and I really loved reading how your BFP *evolved*!!

and heaps of holiday baby dust to the ladies getting ready to test soon!!

fisher: your last post pretty much echos what is going on in my own mind. this is my first cycle temping and while i had the anticipated peaks on my monitor which would indicate ovulation, my temperatures didn''t really shift
14.gif
maybe i don''t ovulate? but why all the LH surges? so confusing?

I would love some second opinions:

l1lu1lu1.JPG

Morning ladies!

Fisher, Lulu, sorry I can''t interpret charts at all. But Fisher, you know you''ve ovulated in the past, so at least you know it''s not that you aren''t ovulating at all. And Lulu, how did you get the red line? Did you put that in based on your ovulation sticks? Since it''s your first month charting, I bet it''s just confusing. Once the entire cycle is finished you will have a better picture.

Festy- You made me laugh at your comment about well maybe one boob is sore. Hah! But that doesn''t necessarily mean anything, not everyone has sore boobs right away. Keep us posted!

Question- if one was indeed KTFU, can you take antibiotics? I know this is probably a better question to be asked on the preggo thread, but just curious. I am not necessarily concerned for this cycle, but it got me thinking. I may need to take some antibiotics, but it''s too soon to know if I was preggo. Assuming it was more of a probability, what do you do? Are they safe, especially since it''s so early? Argh, there is so much to worry about. And I know it just gets worse! I really don''t want to have to go around and tell every massage therapist, facialist, doctor, dentist, etc. that I "may" be preggo simply because we are trying.

Hope everyone has a fantastically fat and full Thanksgiving. Will try to check in, but I am assuming most people will be scarce until after Turkey Day. Can''t wait to come back and hear more good news.

Morning everyone!

Fisher -- Your avatar change threw me for a loop! It''s funny how looking at the avatar is how I usually identify someone vs their screen name.

Festy -- Temp spike is good! Hoping for your BFP! Glad you got to enjoy your sushi.

Sabine -- Thanks for sharing your symptoms with us.

ChinaCat -- My answer would be that antibiotics are safe. I don''t know if that goes for every kind of antibiotic, but my Urologist prescribed me an antibiotic (Macrobid) that I take after sex (for UTI prevention) and I specifically asked him if they were safe to take if I was preggo and he said they were. I''m sure it''s best to ask your doc or pharmacist though.
***********************************************

CD23/ 7DPO....super boring. Hoping that my trip out of town for the holiday will occupy my brain.

Happy Birthday Fisher and DRK and Happy Turkey Day everyone! Baby dust to us all!
