THE SECRET...say a little prayer for me

My FF and I have been together for 1 ½ years and the talk of getting engaged and married is more top of mind than ever! It’s getting really exciting. However, I have one obstacle in my way…my house!

My FF and I live in the same state, but 2 hours apart. I live in a suburb of big city and he lives in a small town and works in another small town (still 2 hours from where I live). Our plan is to sell my house, for me to live w/ my mom for a few months to save $, then to look at renting a place together in a part of town hat is btwn where we both work, or for me to find a new job and for us to move to another city in GA. Anyway, before any of this can happen I must sell my house, so in the meantime, I am in limbo!

My house has been on the market since MARCH! The market is obviously pretty bad b/c it’s inundated w/ foreclosures. I have a breakeven point and am nearing it, as I would prefer not to owe money at my closing.

I’ve have several lookers, one offer that fell through and a possible new nibble. So, I am using the power of positive thinking and THE SECRET to tell the universe I want to and need to sell my house. I figure that if the word will spread across the country an overseas, my wish may come true sooner than later!!!

I believe that at just the right moment, the buyer is going to appear for you.

Have you ever seen any of those "Designed to Sell" shows on HGTV or TLC (can''t remember which)? That''s the show that takes real homes on the market and does small improvements that make the home irresistable to buyers. I love that show!

I have seen that show and I used it for my inspiration to "stage" my house. I think my house looks really good and i get feedback all the time about how well its decorated. My obstacle is I live in a townhome, so there are only a few floorplans and only a few features to differentiate you from your neighbor who has his house for sale. And it all comes down to which counter tops/floor/cabinets one prefers over the other. As well as whether your house get morning or afternoon sunshine (this killed a sale for me once). Then, it comes down price and there are a few foreclosures that keep popping up...

I know it will happen when is supposed to happen and I am starting to feel that since my BF and I have pusehd the accelerator on our realtionship (ie talking more and more about marriage and getting engaged), that the right time may be coming. That is why I need the positive energy telling the universe to find me a buyer

Hrmmm me personally I would be ultra hesitant to sell for a loss even a small one :/, you have stated that at the moment the market is really not in your favour.

If selling is not working at the moment have you thought about tenanting your place out until the market improves, let someone else pay your mortgage for you you can still carry on with your plans as expected .
