Thanks! The profile is the main reason I chose this setting in the first place. I agree that the proportions are loads better with the new stone. And it looks HUGE on my finger. My finger is a size five but the ring is a five and a quarter.

RFT you must be in heaven because that ring is gorgeous! I agree with you and everyone else that the proportion of side stones to center stone is just right. I''m glad they were able to set your larger diamond without any major reconstruction, and it''s executed perfectly - there''s nothing wonky or ill-fitting, and it looks like it was done that way from the beginning. The original was lovely, but the larger center stone is really complimented by the sides! The proportions look fantastic, and how awesome that they were able to use your setting!

The ring with the new stone looks like a totally different ring. Both were gorgeous, but the newer version is GORGEOUS! And the profile is just amazing. And that will for sure put a hold on DSS for awhile!
