A few of my favorite things

1. Mazda CX-9 GT...My DH bought me this as my birthday gift, and I love-love-love it! It has everything...nav, bluetooth, three rows of seating, ipod hook up, rain sensor wiper blades, power lift rear gate, ect...and it looks sporty too! Anyone looking to get into the Crossover market, this is THE one!! Fully loaded, just under 45k.

2. Fresh brand Body Lotion...super great lotion. Absorbs quickly, leaves skin feeling very silky. Absolutely not greasy, or sticky and it doesn''t do that weird sloughing thing some lotions do. 35.00 for a bottle

3. Bath and Body Works brand Shampoo and Condition... As a hairstylist, I never thought I''d like (or recommend) an OTC shamp and cond...but I LOVE this brand, big time. The scents are wonderful...lime verbana, orange, cherry blossum, pineapple...and they actually stay with the hair which is great! It keeps the hair very nourished...no over drying, fading of color, or limpness. Often 2 for $10.00

4. Chi brand Flat Iron and Hair Dryer...Expensive, but worth it. I have actually had my dryer and iron for going on 5 years without issue! The heat on the ceramic iron is very even. The thinner shaft is great for getting ultra close to the root. The dryer has an easy access lint trap...very quiet...and drys quickly (most heads of hair in under 10 minutes!). Iron 100.00 w/ cosmo license...150.00 w/o. Dryer 100.00 w/ cosmo license...150.00 w/o
Ditto on the Mazda CX-9. I have one as well and LOVE it. Its a great and sporty alternative to a minivan for a family of 4

I LOVE Fresh products. they are the best.

A few of my faves.....

1. MAC Cosmetics!!!!-
Studio Tech Foundation! It''s a bit heavier than their other lines of foundation but it hides everything! I love it!
Fluid Line Eyeliner...stays on without smudging,
Viva Glam 1 Lipstick- Classic Red for special occasions...love it!
ZoomLash Mascara (Black)- Doesn''t clump and makes your lashes more defined!

2. Sanpple Peach Iced Tea (the regular one with the orange label, not the diet version).

3. Kerastase Hair Care Products! (Expensive but worth it)

4. Iced Nonfat Caramel Macchiato at Starbucks....LOVE IT!

5. Body Butter from the Body Shop! ( I love the Satsuma scent as well as the Papaya)

6. Feria Hair Color by Loreal- I used to get color done at a salon but now that times are a bit tougher than they used to be, I resorted back to my box color. This stuff is amazing plus it smells good (they put some aromatic oil stuff in there to take the chemical smell out of the color!)

7. I also love my Garmin Nuvi (my mom got me one for moving down to Florida). Now I don''t go without it.... I still feel like a Noob around here after living here a couple of years....lol.

I have many more faves but those are a few of my trusty ones.

I also love all the Method Products
Bathroom spray http://methodhome.com/Product.aspx?id=000045
Granite cleaner http://methodhome.com/Product.aspx?id=000885
Glass cleaner (smells like mint!) http://methodhome.com/Product.aspx?id=000038
All Purpose surface cleaner http://methodhome.com/Product.aspx?id=000052
Hand Soap (in an adorable container!) http://methodhome.com/Product.aspx?id=001622
Laundry Detergent (smells soooo good!) http://methodhome.com/Product.aspx?id=002063
Fabric Softener http://methodhome.com/Product.aspx?id=002216
Floor cleaner http://methodhome.com/Product.aspx?id=005620

I could go on and on so I''ll stop now...but I have and use all of these products (and more)

I love my GPS too!

I also love:

Dunkin'' Donuts coffee (and yes, the occasional doughnut-GASP);
DVR/Tivo - have no idea how I ever lived without it;
Almost anything from Origins - from skin care to make-up;
Kraft fat free cheese;
Pledge multi surface cleaner;
My infinity vac;
And don''t laugh at this one but Head and Shoulders shampoo and conditioner have given my the healthiest head of hair ever!

The Kinoki foot pads don''t do anything. I read a consumer reports type thing on them and they put the pads over a pot of boiling water....the heat and steam turned them dark. Its just your hot sweaty feet that make them look like they are working

My favorite products:

Chanel nail polish- esp. Noir.

L''Oreal Le Grand Curl mascara and L''Oreal Voluminious Mascara-its what the MAC people told me they actually wear....haha.

Bobbi Brown make-up....all of it!

ProActive---love the stuff!

Banana Boat After Sun Lotion- I stock up during the summer and use it all year long! Its the best lotion ever!

I never ever post, but this is FUN!!!

- GHD hair straightner - everyone needs to have one of these, it beats the CHI, trust me on this one. AUSSIES will understand where I am coming from!
- My Dyson vacum best investment - yes you heard right, investement! 5 year warrenty and vacuming is a snap!
- My BMW X3 - I am completly head over the heals in love with this car/ SUV!!!!
- The Love of my LIFE - My FF
- My little man (our 1 year old malti poo)
- Fiji water - I drink 3 liters a day and I couldnt live without water.
- Palmers Cocoa Butter Lotion
- Veggie Mite & vitawheats

Oh I could go on forever! :)

So many people rav about MAC make-up... I''ll def. need to look into that one day!

wishful- I love the method hand soap, but havn''t used any cleaning products by them yet.

keepingthefaith- I am also a fan of the pledge multi surface cleaner... I just wish it came in a bigger bottle, I go threw it too fast!!

So many things here to try!

I have another one... has anyone ever heard of a Neti pot? It''s for help with your sinuses. It''s this little tea pot type thing and you put distilled water and a packet of sodium chloride & sodium bicarbonate in it, put the lid on then you tilt your head to one side, lean slightly forwards and put the spout to ur top nostril and pour the water in. It goes threw your sinues and comes out the other nostril. Then you turn your head and do your other side! It''s really helped me alot with sinuses. It cleans them all out, sure, it feels a little funny, and it takes a while to get use to but that''s a small price to pay for cleaned out sinuses!

sorry about all the typos!

AAAAAAHHH!!!!

Please tell me if I''m overusing the PedEgg! But I loved it immediately when I first used it... was a total convert. Hehehehe. I even had my mom and FI use it!

Well, it ruined all of our heels! Maybe we used it too hard?

But it caused our heel epidermis to grow back harder and faster (like the body''s defense mechanism is to form big callouses)...

So that is our sad story.

Anyone else out there like it? Our heels are very thick now because of them! I am hoping after a few pedicures, it will go away but it was dramatic.

ME TOO!! My heels have been messed up for months now, but they are getting better!

My dad said he loved the thing, so I got one and it did some damage. Not only are my heels thicker now, but my feet are constantly peeling to the point of raw and it hurts to walk! And the worst part is that bottom of my feet were perfect before the ped egg, I just thought it would maintain them.

I think they are good for people who already have calloused feet, but if not, STEER CLEAR!!

Hmm... that''s so weird about the problems with the ped egg, I''m gonna have to keep a watch on my own feet!

I''ve heard GHD was a good straightner as well... decisions decisions!! How hot does one get?
