I know it''s going to be tough trying to find loose OEC''s ....but I''m really not on a timeline.
Also planning a trip to Lang''s in summer or early fall...maybe I could find something already made...?

I like the Langs idea. They have a ton of stunning stuff in stock, you very well might see something that speaks to you there!

That's a hard choice, I love them both. I'm gonna say 3 stone because I'd like one of those myself.

Ditto neatfreak on Lang''s - especially if you call them and tell them what you are looking for, I bet someone there could keep an eye out for you.

A friend and I were drooling over their window display yesterday - they have some truly incredible colored stones and old cut diamond rings (and other jewelry)

#2!!! I like three stones, but honestly I see them all the time on people. I rarely see anyone wearing a solitaire with a color stone halo, yum!!!

Thanks for the replies -- I am leaning towards the solitaire with the sapphire halo -- just didn''t want it to look like an e-ring on my RH..... I will let you know if this project becomes reality!!!

I like both of them, but I think the second option (with Saphires) would be a bit more unique, which I personally love. That would be a gorgeous ring.

I vote for the 3 stone. One of my dream rings is as follows: 3-stone OEC in simple 6 prong platinum setting. What I love more than anything, however, is when all 3 stones are exactly the same size!!! I think having the stones the same size would make the ring somewhat unique. That''s what I would choose for myself hands down.
