OMG, I saw this thread and thought now who dug this up and saw it was you widget!!! The ring is an upgrade from Tiffany''s. I had the exact same ring only smaller and my hubby thought it was too small so he bought me this one. The center stone is 2.36 carats E VVS and the sides are .68 pears E VVS. Now if I had to do it over again with all my knowledge from working in a Jewelry store and from PS I would''nt pay the premium for a Tiffany ring. I just love it though, so thanks!!

This is the story, it was around christmas time and my husband took the kids to the maul to do some shopping. He hates the maul and when they came back my children told me that their father took them to Tiffany''s. I said yeah right that''s a good one guys, they''re like no mom we even have a business card from the salesperson. OK then I died. He just came out and said he wanted to get me a bigger ring. I was so happy with mine, I didn''t want a bigger ring, but he insisted. OK it didn''t take long to change my mind. Cute story huh??

OMG, you guys are too funny!!! Let me tell you that Mr. kaleigh is sooooooo done with jewelry. He was incredibly sweet with this ring and now he thinks he is done. I don''t blame him one bit!!! I do treat myself now and then with small items. I have the ring of my dreams from the man of my dreams. Websailor doesn''t need any help from Mr. Kaleigh, trust me on that cflutist!!!

People debate Tiffanys around here a lot and like any other name brand of high-end merchandise, there is a markup, but they only carry quality diamonds and yours in top of the line. And the sweetest part is that it is clear your husband wanted to get you the best of the best. That is tremendously romantic!

Thanks I do wear a band with it, it''s a shared prong diamond eternity band that I got from signed pieces, it''s 3.38 tcw size 5. At first I thought it might be a little much, but got used to it pretty quick. I also have a very thin band that I wear with it too, when I am dressing down so to speak.

That's right!!!! After trying to find a picture of a real stone (but not one I was going to buy) for the April 1 thread, and having every single large oval available on the web shot down, there is no way I'd try for the real thing!!!!

On the other hand, maybe I do get a few points for taking cflutist on cruises where she can go diamond, pearl, whatever shopping....and even wear her sparkly stuff!

Oh darn! just lost those points! I forgot to log cflutist out and log me (websailor) in.... Easy come, easy go....
