I got a lot of answers from you guys last night, and I have done some research today, and here are the three diamonds I found so far. Please tell me what you think, thanks.


my buget $3.6k. >0.8 ideal cut, I , vs2. gonna set on a yellow gold setting. So I dont know J is ok or not.

You want HCA below 2 so I'd eliminate stone 2 and 3. I think a J would be totally fine in yellow gold (and lots of people set J color stones in platinum), but it's up to you!

Too deep...you'll want to keep the depth under a 62 or 62.4% at max

This is only a VG for the symmetry and the HCA score is way too high (keep it under a 2 for the hca).

thoughts in bold...I'd suggest this one. It scored a 1.7 on the HCA and will come to about $3700ish after the PS discount JA gives:

1. It has some leakage. Between this and the I SI1 at BGD that I posted earlier, I would prob get the BGD.
2. I like it, needs an Ideal Scope.
3. I like this one, too. I was thinking of posting it yesterday. Needs an Ideal Scope. I expect it to have some leakage with those numbers, but I think it might not be too bad. It is also kind of a gray/green color...

Ideal Scope is more important than HCA.

I think they do photos and Ideal Scope. Call them and ask.
 
Ok, I will ask them for those information, and forJA.com I can only get 3 Ideal Scopes?

that was fast. Too bad the first one is not eye-clean, it is nice.

Second one has some leakage. Ask them what, if any, is the difference in appearance between the two.

I'd never ever suggest buying from them. They don't provide any pictures and you don't even have access to the reports.

I have purchased through both James Allen and B2C. B2C is not as large and streamlined, but they're legit. They list the same virtual diamonds that many of the other PS vendors list, and often at a discount. Personally, I've been able to receive numerous pictures of diamonds from them upon request, but your mileage may vary. "Scopes" might have to wait until they can get a stone delivered to them. But to say they DON'T provide pictures is a strong statement. Additionally, although they may not have links on their pages to each GIA report, they usually provide GIA certificate numbers on the website, so you can easily look up the stones on the GIA cert checker. http://www.gia.edu/reportcheck/
