Thoughts about this lavender spinel?

UPDATE!!!
The spinel arrived just today! Got it within days using FedEx intl priority
To my surprise, the seller sent me two additional emerald cut garnets free of charge. New earrings, maybe??

I tried my best to take good pictures of the stone, but found it really hard to depict the true color. It's something between lavender and lilac, and turns pinkish in some lighting! Somehow in the photos it appears to have some blacking out although its not IRL

Now I should try to decide how I'm going to set it! Possibly thinking about a milgrain halo or a trilogy ring

I got here a little late but you chose the one I liked best and I was going to say that it will likely be shifty. I have a couple of stones this color and they do vary from lavender to lilac to pinkish in different lighting or angles which is quite fun.

Yeah I noticed the color shift ever since I got it! At this point I can't really tell if its lilac or lavender! I'm pretty sure your stones look awesome
