IMG_9445.JPG Looking to possibly purchase a Gabriel & Co. e-ring. Looking for opinions on quality, etc from your own experiences!

Are you asking for opinions/experience on the setting or both the setting and the stone in the picture?

Two of my dear friends have Gabriel & co halo settings, no problem what-so-ever with them. G&Co. actually delivers a pretty good quality at a lower price point.

I think the top view is pretty. Not seeing a whole lot of metal but the image is a bit blurry. What does the profile look like?

If you go to @rollingringqueen other thread she shows a profile photo.

I've not owned anything by them, so I don't know how well the pave is done or what quality melee they use. Does your jeweler carry Sylvie? I have had a Sylvie ring in the past that I thought was decently made. I think your stone fits in the setting nicely though. I'm not dismissing Gabriel & Co but have you looked at Simon G or Beverly K?

Just setting. The stone in this picture is a CZ for display purposes only.

Sorry for the blurry pics!

I haven't looked at either of the other two you mention. Saw this one and really liked it!

I see why you like it, it's very pretty!

I just did a search of PS for you, @rollingringqueen . Gabriel & Co. ring owners seem to have been very happy through the years -- with one exception: those who selected 4181:

PSers stopped suggesting this particular setting about 5 years ago (and ID Jewelry was declining to order it) because there were complaints about pave stones falling out of the thin shank.

But the one you're considering (pretty profile!) doesn't have that potential problem : - )

Oh thank you for the research!!!

I think this was already mentioned, but usually IDJ can get you the best price on Gabriel and Co. You can also "upgrade" the melee to a whiter VS2, otherwise my understanding is that the default is lower color SI
