Thoughts on the Tiffany harmony band with my solitaire?

Hi friends. I’m shopping for a new every day band and I’m considering the Tiffany harmony. How are the proportions with my e ring? Is it too thick compared to my setting? I love how it sits flush and no diamonds are rubbing. 11C8234D-597D-42B5-AA8A-9BB4586353FB.jpeg

No it is not too thick and looks fabulous with your ring!! Did you try it on in platinum as well or do you want the yellow gold? Either way it would look great!!

I tried the platinum, this is actually rose gold! We may or may not have purchased it

It’s hard to tell! I’ll have to take some better pictures. My husband bought this for me and I got him a sterling link bracelet. Merry Christmas to both of us lol. I went just to look and try and when I turned around for a second it happened so I’m still shocked. I blame their sneaky champagne.
 
I think it looks beautiful. I love a nice mix and match look. I do the same thing sometimes!

Ok sonic the light of day I’m noticing one of the diamonds in the band is pulling fairly dark. I attempted to catch on picture. For the price it sort of bothers me?C6699B11-C233-4BFA-8A13-C7E58AE39425.jpeg Would you folks exchange? I feel like if I tried to show the SA what I’m talking about they might think I’m crazy.

What a beautiful pairing! Are you wearing dark clothing or have a dark phone case? If the stone often looks like that, I would exchange if it were me.

No I’m actually wearing a light grey top! I’m wearing it around today and noticing it a lot. It just seems like a lot of $$ to spend for it to not be right?

Yes it is and I wouldn’t hesitate to exchange it if I saw it all the time. Surprising to me that their quality control would let that out like that!

Thank you! I texted my SA and he said the diamonds range in color D-I. And that’s fine but I don’t really find that acceptable at this price point for me.
 
D-I is such a broad range for melee used in one band. I’m surprised to hear that, but even so a lower colored stone should not be looking black like this. Take it back and compare it to another. You should be 100% happy with the quality of your Tiffany purchase!

I'm thinking it's the cut of the diamond that is making it look dark, not the color. I'd send her the pics you posted here.

eta - how does the other side of the ring look?

The other side is great! I agree I think it’s the cut, not the color. I use the loupe to look and it just looks *different* than the others. I think you hit the nail on the head about cut.

It was hard to see in the perfect store lighting. Wasn’t until I was in general every day light.

Update - i read the rest of this thread. I see the outlier as well. Exchange to rectify - replace with same ring, new stone(s).

Tiffany & Co doesn’t seem to have the same quality standards in some respects as it did in days gone by. Melee D-I seems like a very broad range for them! I too think it is more cut than color but still am very surprised to hear about this range of color. Hope you are able to get the ring exchanged.
