I have my heart set on this 1.51 carat, E SI1 (eye clean) described as "EXCEPTIONAL" stone from James Allen. Can you please give me your thoughts? Bernardo assured me that this stone was indeed a winner, and would look fabulous in my chosen setting:

Yeah, you need to request an ASET, we can't tell anything from the numbers alone. On a side note, I'm happy that your SA is Bernardo. I always call to speak with him directly, I adore him! :))

I would definitely want an ASET on this before confirming the sale. Are you sure this is eye clean enough for you? I spotted the inclusion on the table (near the culet) right away.

@All: Thanks so much for taking time to check it out.

Re: Bernardo, I agree, and I do totally trust him. I had that EC in the pipeline and he did not hesitate to steer me away from it right away for this one or one like it. We spent time going over it pretty carefully, and he called it an "EXCEPTIONAL" stone. Call me crazy, but I am inclined to believe him. After I asked he applied the pricescope discount (over $500 !) so that was a nice surprise! It's my first real diamond and I'm super excited, and sorta micro managed a bit; FI gets major, major points for handling my ring panic (the EC everyone dissed) with grace and in stride. I am a super lucky woman no matter what, but I am pretty sure I will be happy with the stone. I have my fingers crossed, and will post photos when it arrives.

"Leap and the Net Shall Occur" as it were. :)
