Three stone ring owners: What did you do for your wedding ring? Any V-shaped rings out there?

So a V shape band is less strong then a curved band - it’s just physics. Metal on metal is way better than metal on diamond, for sure, but metal can scratch metal, so just be mindful of where the band sits as your basket has so much detail work. Lovely ring, btw.

I have serval three stones and wear a variety of spacers with mine to minimize prong damage from metal on metal. If I wear one with an non channel set eternity band, I always use a spacer.

Sorry if it is listed above, but have you considered a curved band?

I’d worry a curved band might shift a bit; if a straight band moves it doesn’t matter. Having said that, I do admire curved or V bands and based on your finger structure, my concern might not apply to you.

Are all three stones lab grown?
Yup!

Um… wow. I can’t stop staring at the side profile, it’s amazing.
I know... I've been engaged since December and it still gets me!

A photo from today. My new Beloved x 3.
Stunning!!

You mean the wedding band’s design draft is made by yourself?
I took a picture of the plain base V-ring from the web and added the diamonds.

I generally prefer sharp angles over curves, but maybe I should try a curved one to see. For your spacer bands, are they the same type of metal as your rings, or a softer one to make sure they're not hurting them?

Yeah I was wondering about that too
I love your stack!!

My spacers are all 14k gold, be that white or yellow. My rings are platinum or 18 carat gold. The spacers are not going to do much damage to the platinum settings as I wear my rings loose so they all freely move. The gold is cheaper for a spacer so I have lots of them. Some are tiny, some are braided, some are twists, some are wider.

Here are examples, top with the OEC three stone is a twisted spacer and the bottom with the asscher is a thin wire.
