Three-Stone rings with colored sides...

Anyone have one? Esp Sapphires? Please post pics! And if you have sizes you can post (center and sides) and band widths that would be great, thanks!!!

Love them. Make them frequently with sapphires. My SIL's is a 7mm round with 5 or 5.5mm rounds. Can't remember which. Keep in mind that a 5mm sapphire will look a lot smaller that a 5mm diamond....like wearing black pants vs white.

You might get more replies in the CS forum. I know many of the bands on the ering folder there have CS sides stones or 3 stones with different colors. AJ's ring pops to mind by JKT that is fantastic.

Anyhow here is an antique 3 stone with ruby sides that I'm obessed with. This was a front runner in my 3 stone hunt but ultimately I decided on something a bit more classic and all diamond.

Oh, I just LOVE these! I have always wanted a round with sapphire sides. So classic and beautiful!

I have this one saved for inspiration. It is owned by preciousjewel920. Setting by Leon and sapphires cut by Richard Homer. If I recall correctly, the center is around 1.25 and was her original e-ring stone.

That is magnificent. I don't care for the ratio, I like the sides to be more like accenty. If that makes sense. But that's a nice set of sapphires. I really like the claw prongs.

CharmedOne...you are right that it is very hard to find good matched pairs! I encountered that when I was looking for a pair for earrings!

Ame, yes, that is a perfect setting, so elegant! I am sure sapphires that size are pricey, too!

I have a 3 stone with side sapphires and I love it!! It's always been my dream ring, in the future I hope to upgrade my sapphires to a cornflower blue, mine are quite dark, and I'd also like to have more delicate claw type prongs. Center stone 1.2, sides .50 ctw.

LOVE!!! I actually like the darker blues. I like them to be just a little under navy. I know that's not the norm or probably of "fine make" to most, but I for some reason always thought the nicer dark blues but still definitely blue looked best. I wear a camel handbag and navy converse daily, I am the ultimate in neutral accessories So Navy would be the ultimate neutral ring!

Always. I cannot wear my ering because it's poorly crafted and unsafe. I expected that a brand with such cache and so much history on PS and such a RIDICULOUS pricetag to not only make something worthwhile but also to stand behind it. And they do not. At all. So that is a lesson learned. But til I have the funds to reset it, it sits in the safe unworn. Our house is where our funds will be going for the forseeable future.

ME!!! I'm turning into a 5 stone next week. Yuki at IDJ is sending me stones to add. They'll be about the same size as the sapphires. Definitely having those prongs fixed too! And I don't know what's with this first picture, it does NOT have inclusions like that! Ugh...camera phone.

My mom had a beautiful three stone with a 1.5 center diamond and beautiful cornflower blue sapphires I'm not sure of the size but very well proportioned .It was great finger coverage. It was set in platinum basket setting and my sister got it when she passed. I had a smaller version 1ct center with .50 sides and for some crazy reason reset it into part of my multi diamond pendant. I wish I had not. Thinking of redoing it!
