Here’s my Princess cut. (I have no cert or paperwork on her as I bought her from a B&M store ages ago and before I knew how to buy diamonds).

This is kind of fun! I really should have given them a bath before taking these.

Oh my goodness! The detail! Amazing to think these were created by hand.

Holy moly I did not realize how hard this would be to do. The slightest movement = blurry photos.

Finally got it, though. Tip for those trying this: do NOT hold a piece in one hand or on your lap and try to photograph. Put it on a hard surface.

CVB rose cut. Would like to have gotten more photos but the light return off it kept blowing out the photo and this was the only one that came out.


Victor Canera single cut band, bright cut pave. It is amazing to look at the detail up close like this.



Photographing this it was just full of rainbows. This piece may be simple, but it is truly one of my favorites.

I am in awe! So superb! And the Rosie…. Slay!! All of these shots have me mesmerized.

Yikes dirt, but here’s mine. Thanks @Tonks for the suggestion to not hold the piece in your hand. The last time I tried this I had some cockamamie rubber band situation to hold the loupe on my phone. Duh, this was much easier!

What makes this so difficult is that any motion at all ruins the shot. I had no idea how much my hands move until I tried this.

OMG this was such a tribulation trying to take these pics. iPhone 13 pro camera is just hot garbage with a loupe; 11 pro was so much better.

Anyway, best I could do with my .5ct AVOEC. It’s dirty, clearly.
