Anyone wear one?
Anyone interested in wearing one?
Anyone wear a diamond one?
I have a couple girlfriends who wear silver ones and like to spin them around and stuff just wondering they kinda interest me but FI says he doesn''t like them and neither does my mom so just wondering what PSers think...

OMG! Literally 20 minutes ago, I put my husband''s wedding band on my thumb and thought, "hmmm, maybe I should get a thumb ring for days when I want to "funk it up" a bit!" I was envisioning plain white gold or silver. I like the look if it matches your personality.

I do, it''s a diamond eternity... but only because it is the only finger on which it fits (can''t resize, and not worth the money if I could, but for sentimental value.)

JulieN, do you have a hand shot that you can post?

I wore a thumb ring for about 20 years until it became more mainstream for men to wear them...It was 1976 and I was 14 and wanted something un-usual to wear. The owner of a jewelry store I did some work for made me a ring for my thumb after I read that men wore thumb and knuckle rings in Europe during the 15th and 16th centuries....I got many positive comments on that hammered sterling ring and later went to a yellow gold band for a few years.

OMGosh luvmyhalo that sounds really cute a nice solid plain wg band or silver one yeah I am really thinking about adding one. Not sure why just b/c I like the idea and JulieN WOW I LOVE the idea of an eternity band how nice that you get to wear it b/c it is dear to you and yeah no need to resize it
I was thinking about one from WF their channel set eternity wedding band how cute would that be and it is pretty affordable too and it would be so sparkly!
jewelerman very cool sounds like you were WAY ahead of the trends, they are pretty popular now for guys and gals
Thanks guys I wondered if anyone would chime in...

Sorry, alternative view here - can't stand em! But maybe that because I have short stubby fingers/thumbs..hmm but don't like them on others either..

I second this. I''d love to see a picture.

I have worn one from time to time, but not for a while. They seem to fit better on my left than on my right, and I have this ''thing'' about wearing other rings on the same hand as my wedding rings

Above is the link to the diamond I just bought, what do you guys think? Do you think the bubble is visible to the eye with out looking at it under a scope. I didn''t get this ring yet, will be getting it in 10 days. I am scared and excited at the same time. Would like someone to help me figure out if I made a good choice. I am worry about those bubbles. Thank you so much for taking time to read this.

i wear one on my left thumb. i bought it at a dept store and later found out that it is a tiffany knock off. i just looked on their site and couldnt find it, although i saw it there before. it is only about 1mm to 2mm wide and has multi colored stones channel set like an eternity band. it is very dainty and pretty. i have gotten alot of compliments on it.

Gorri, I think you might get more readers if you posted as a "new topic" of your own under Rocky Talky.

I like them, but don''t have any really nice ones. I have a sterling silver and marcasite rolling ring that I bought at Target. I thought it was cute, but the sizing was off and it was too big for my other fingers. It''s actually even a little too big for my thumb, too but I wear it on occasion because I like the look. I would definitely be into having a diamond one, but there are a lot of other diamond purchases I''d rather make before a thumb ring so I doubt I''ll ever end up with one.

I wouldn''t mind wearing a diamond one on my left thumb, but I wouldn''t wear a cheapie one on my left hand. I think if I were to wear another ring on my left hand, my thumb might be the only finger I''d wear it on. A very thin diamond one might look pretty cute there, and wouldn''t take away too much from my e-ring. I don''t like other stuff on my left hand though. I guess I''m werid about that too
