I loved this necklace for ages, and then I got it during a tax-free shopping weekend. Most of Tiffany's 18k plain-metal necklaces start in the $800-$1,000 range, (except plain cable chains) but this was $600. They have just come out with the matching bracelet for $500...I'll have to think about it. They are both quite weighty pieces, and for Tiffany, I don't think these two prices are so bad. Not sure if the bracelet would be a bit matchy-matchy...however, I guess I don't have to wear them together!

From Tiffany I also have some 18k gold bow earrings, and the cabochon lapis and gold set - the version without the diamonds. So it's a solitaire necklace and bracelet, with the lapis stud earrings. But I'm not sure if they are too inexpensive/not special enough to show here. Let me know if you would like to see them.

That looks really good on you, JanesJewels! I like where it sits on your neck and it has good presence - even better on a tax free event purchase!

It is lovely!

I'd like an opinion: If I got the bracelet, would it be too matchy-matchy to wear it same time as the necklace?

Beautiful - that's truly a timeless design!

I have a few matching sets (earrings/necklace/pendant sets, bracelet/pin, demiparure with earrings, bracelet, pin, and necklace). I find that I tend to wear only my antique silver pieces together - somehow they beg to be worn together. For most other stuff I like to mix it up. Personally I think a nice gold cuff or bangle bracelet would look very sophisticated with that necklace!

Admittedly this is much more expensive than the Tiffany's bracelet, but wouldn't it be a cool companion piece?

Thanks for the advice, V R Beauty! A cuff would indeed look great with it. A bit out of my price range for now, but excellent idea!
