Tiffany charm enhancer really that useful?

I recently got a new ring and thinking of getting the charm enhancer from Tiffany. However, I have a imitation one from Etsy, and I pretty much have to rub the ring against the calsp to push it open and into the loop. I am afraid that this action will damage my ring eventually. Is this how the. Tiff. charm enhancer works too. How do u get the rings into the loop without needing to push them through the clasp??

If it is anything like a carabiner, just use your finger to open it instead if pushing it open with your ring. If it is too small for that use a bit of tissue to stop any scraping.

I always use my finger to push open the clasp, not my ring on both my YG Tiffany charm enhancer and my new tiffany circle clasp bolo necklace. I find that the bolo necklace (because of it's bigger diameter for the actual part that holds the ring) does a better job.. since I don't have to maneuver my rings in such a small amount of space.

edit: I use it a lot since I take off my rings quite a bit for work (I'm an RN) and for eating messy foods (think cajun style crab boil).

How much larger is the circle clasp compared to the charm enhancer? I work in the health care field too as an occupational therapist and I wash my hands ALOT ... even at home after diaper changes, washing dishes, cooking, wiping snotty noses... I take my rings off all the time but always want to wear them too. The local Tiffany store is downtown and I rarely go downtown these days! I am also wondering the price difference between the circle clasp and the charm enhancer....

by the way, as an RN, how do u care for your rings while working? do u wear gloves a lot? do u wash your hans with them on often? people ar work would makefun if me for washing and lotioninv my hands with my rings off

I don't know the exact size, but I'm loading a picture up. It's honestly $25 difference. The YG Charm Enhancer was $450 and the Circle Clasp Bolo in WG was $475. However, I will say that both items are in low supply since they are both "discontinued" however there are like 1-2 floating around the US that they will probably have to call other stores to bring in for you. I think the sterling silver version of both are still floating around in larger quantities, however I am super allergic to SS and I got a rash when I tried to get the SS version of the charm enhancer.

I generally wash with them off, but, at work I'm a lot more careful about where I place my rings (ie: pocket) before when I didn't have these necklaces when I was washing my hands. Now I just place them on my necklace to wash my hands and put lotion back on them. I do wear gloves a lot, so it's a non-issue since I'm in management as an RN but I do step in and help out the staff with hard sticks and procedures.

i have the sterling silver tiff charm enhancer...it is 100. I use it all the time and am also in the healthcare field I even like the look of it with nothing on it. I have tiffany charms i will throw on it once and a while...
