Tiffany Metro Ring - Durable??

Good morning:

Does anyone have thoughts about using a Tiffany Metro single-row diamond eternity ring as a wedding band? It is approx. 1.5mm in width, very beautiful, but I'm concerned if it can be worn every day (not while gardening perhaps <g>).

Would appreciate any personal experiences with this ring or other similar thin paves.

When I bought my Tiffany channel set eternity band, I tried on the Metro too. It was very beautiful but the saleslady advised me against using the Metro as an everyday wedding band because of durability issues. It is beautiful but very thin and because of that, very fragile.
