Timeless Designs by Jacob & Bryan ring visit

Okay, I think I am going to have to either exchange my oval for a round diamond if I want the baguette ring or I like the following??

I have about two weeks to decide diamond wise what I want to do.

Or the above idea but with the famous Fi.Z halo. I really am so confused with all the different halos, this one is half pointers. Not sure what the pictures above are.

you seem to really love fi.z's halo. Im inclided to say just do her halo, seems like you just keep being drawn to that. What would you think of a halo with baguettes on the side, sort of like a three stone but with a haloed center?

That's really pretty  where did you find that?

It was just a random pic on someone else's thread. I think they found it on pinterest. Either way ERD or somebody I'm sure could replicate it with a bezel halo like you like. I'm just saying I'd you want to keep your oval there is options to incorporate the elements you love. ::)

That halo is so delicate and I love the lines of the shoulders. charming!!

Yeah the ring with the baguettes had just a 1 ct in it, which is what I had so I am thinking it might be stupid to get another round unless it's larger. I do really like the size of my oval on my hand, so unless I get a super good deal on a bigger round I will most likely just keep my oval.
If noting else I will get one of those great milgrain baguette bands that I keep seeing everywhere, I've had my eye on them way before I saw the Timeless Design ring.

At this point it depends on what the response from Timeless Designs is regarding my last idea. :|

Niel - I love this ring... there is just something so organic and delicate about the setting and the oval... I can totally picture it with really well made double claw prongs... it would be dreamy!

I found a 1.06 ct round diamond, that would look great in the baguette Timeless Design ring. Now I just have to decide what I want to do. Should I get rid of my 1.5 oval for a smaller round?

I would show them lots of pics and see what they come up with in CAD. Don't give up the baguette idea yet if you are open to also using traps, carre, rounds, etc with it to make it more elegant.

I just want you to give up on the oval yet.

Last option for my Oval.

I must say the 1.06 ct round that I am considering is very pretty and sparkly. It's E in color and Ideal cut. It probably looks tiny on my finger alone, but it could be really pretty in that setting I like.

i guess you'll have to decide how you feel. Nobody could tell you which is best for you. :wavey:

I love the idea of a halo + baguettes. Another idea for you :loopy: :

oh i really lpve this

That is very pretty. I will for sure keep that idea in mind.

So an update of where I am. I am going to go look at a 1.5CT RB tomorrow. However, if I did decide to do the baguette Timeless Design ring this could change the look of the ring a little since the stone would be larger. (which I do not want to do)
I liked the 1.06ct RB I saw the other day, and I think it would look very pretty in the TD ring, BUT something is just bothering me about it and I'm not sure what it is. It might be going down to a smaller diamond when I already had that same size. Not only do I want to love my setting I want to love my diamond, and the smaller one I'm not sure I love. I could end up in love with a 1.5 RB. When I traded my round for my oval it did not bother me at all, but trading my oval for a round I just could not do it the other day. (maybe that's a sign)

I also spoke to JbEG and the Lynda is an option that I am leaning towards. It very well could be the ring for now, and later down the road once I figure out what I want have it set in "the one." I already asked and it can be made so that a wedding band will sit flush with it.

So it's either
1) go back to a 1.06 RB for the TD ring.
2) get a 1.5 RB and have more options with settings Bella, Mimi, etc... (which at this point might be a horrible situation)
3) keep my oval and who knows what

This is just how I see it.

Keep your oval clearly you like it and do t want to part with it.

Set it in that jbeg bezel. You'll like it for now but you won't sink too money into a setting you will change.

Save your money, study up. And in a few years when you are certain what you're forever ring is you can pay a master bench to do it.

I need to compare the 1.5 ct RB with my oval and see how I feel. 8)

I posted this on my other thread when I should have posted it on this one.
I went and looked at the F color 1.5 ct RB. I must admit it is very pretty. More so than I thought it would be. I know it doesn't look as large as my oval but I am hoping it still looks good on my hand? Since I am having such a horrible time deciding what I want, I left it up to my husband. He picked the RB.

So if I go ahead and trade I would then look at the Timeless Design ring as I have found out that a larger stone won't be a problem at all for the baguette setting. Or I am also really considering one of the JbEG settings. Not sure which one, since I love them all.

Would love to hear your thoughts of the RB size on my chunky finger.

Here is my new 1.50ct RB. I think I made the right choice. I started a new thread for the search of the perfect setting, although one of the above very well could be it. They will be here sometime next week for me to take a look.

Thanks for all the help!! :appl:
