There is a chance for me to buy a huge Orange garnet. 11.15ct
The color is so sweet orange, it just looked like an orange! But the clarity is I1....I know! what do I need it for?
The price is very cheap due to the inclusion ($25)

Do you think I should get it? Trust me, even just $25, I don't want to waste it if it's worthless
Do you folks like this stone?

What are your plans for this stone? What does the vendor say about getting this stone set? $25 is not a deal if it's going to end up unloved. A stone this included isn't going to show brilliancy that you might be used to seeing.

No plan...just thought that's a nice color to have since I don't have an fanta orange garnet.
I agree with you about it will be unloved.... :geek:

You have decided to purchase this color stone or any other option is there. If you are having some other color option then attach their picture from those different color we can choose the best one.

The photo on the right (the bright orange) seems to have quite a lot of light shining on it while the one on the left (the duller one) is probably closer to how the stone will look everyday. I wouldn't call it fanta orange.

Do you like checkerboard cut?

Personally I don't care for this type of cut because I associate it with commercially available and somewhat cheap stones. Many B&M stores have stones in this cut and most of them look a bit dull and plastic-y to me, probably due to poor polish, as people in the recnet "How to tell if a gem has life" thread have pointed out..
