When my dog was having trouble eating in the last year of her life, one of the the things that would motivate her to eat was believing the cats were going to steal her food. But the cats actually have no interest in her food. So for some reason I started singing the "meow meow meow" song to trick her into thinking a cat was coming and it worked! So many, many days I would be sitting on the kitchen floor singing 'meow meow meow meow, meow meow meow meow' while my dog ate furiously, convinced a cat was plotting against her.
