To Reset or Sell?

The metal is driving me crazy. The diamonds are DREAMY!! the shapes are fantastic! the steps are amazing. The symmetry is to die for. But the chunky blockiness cuts off the flow of the design. I have 2 ideas for this. My first thought was this belongs in rose gold filigree and beading. The second was to put it in something like this: I suck at photoshop! But those stones are the bees knees! <3

A bit sloppy but this might help give an idea of how it might look, general size/shape wise.
It’s hard to predict how the stone’s facet contrast will or may differ when out of the bezel, though.

I'm not going to lie, I remember seeing this ring on IG & thinking how beautiful the diamonds were but that I definitely would have set the center N-S instead of E-W. It's all personal preference though, so make sure whether you sell, reset, or replate, that you end up with a piece that feels fully "you"! ❤

Oh god no.. absolutely not. Halos IMO are meant to enhance. Your stones need NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTHINGGGGGGG but to hold court all by themselves. The are DREAMY. Honesty? they are one of the better sourced project compellations I've seen in many years. It's really hard to source the entire vision and execute it with so many moving parts. That entire set made my heart SING! except the feng shui of it didn't flow. Their energy to me was off. I know I'm a weirdo! But they're being blocked by this hard chunky metal. They're softer, they need center stage. Its why I thought of brushed filigree and migraine with side steps for progression of detail. I would have never put them in any kind of channel or bezel.

The stones themselves are beautiful, however, I do wish the center was larger. With that said, this is more of a travel ring/alternate ring when I don’t want to wear my flashy engagement ring (which I absolutely love). I know, I sound indecisive and contradictory. Thinking logically, it’s probably best to re-set so that the stones shine themselves and I don’t spend any more money or lose anymore.
