Regarding anything PETA has to say - I DON''T BELIEVE IT. They are the BIGGEST hypocrites on the planet. They have been brought up on many counts of animal cruelty in NC. They have proof of them killing dogs & cats ''supposedly'' rescued from animal shelters and just DUMPED them in a dumpster. They don''t believe in ANY pets. They don''t believe in therapy dogs. They open crates at dog shows to cause pandimonium. They don''t seem to care if the dog runs out in the street. Having had a show dog, MOST live a CHARMED life.

What they say on the surface may seem all fine and good. Most people do not know the ramifications of their actions.

I stopped giving to PETA years ago becasue I got wind of some of this. I don''t like or condone their tactics either, including the awful mail the STILL send to my home. No charity is perfect (there is a lot of waste) but I have much more positive evidence that the HSUS, ASPCA, IDA, and ALDF do more good than not.

Also, I have been advised by someone who used to work for PETA NOT to call and say you don''t want mail from them--they can harass you...Just throw it out.
