No, but hubby does...

We make our own! Porridge with cinnamon and honey for me, rice crispies for FI. Sometimes we''ll cook each other something, but we''re very 50/50 with that kind of stuff.

Nope. I work 9 hours+ a day and have to be there at 6AM. It''s all I can do to drag myself out of the bed!

DH makes breakfast on the days he doesn''t go into the office, so he''s cooking about 4 days a week.
And he will usually do something nice. Omlets or eggs, maybe some kind of sausage and hopefully grits!
Love them grits! But one cannot eat that like all the time and expect to be healthy so I will make my own
smoothie, banana, fruit, plain yogurt, raw spinach, splash of juice, powdered Vit. C and flaxseed. Yum.

Only on Christmas, LOL!!!

Yup. I usually make hot cereal with apples and raisins for the two of us. On weekends, SO makes waffles or I make eggs and sausages. Or we go for brunch.

bleh who can eat breakfast
just the thought of food until I have been up 2-3 hours turns my tummy

No - just on the weekends. I make coffee for my GF every single morning for her commute though - including putting it in her travel mug with the right amount of sugar and microwaved milk!

What, like open the granola bar package?

Seriously, i''m out the door when my husband is just getting up. I have no time to make breakfast, and I refuse to get up any earlier! I will eat a quick bowl of cereal, or a granola bar or something. I usually do make breakfast on the weekends.

No. My husband leaves before I get up, and he has cereal with fruit and coffee. I take coffee and whole wheat toast with me in the car.

Heck no, I am a working woman, I am at work at 6am Mon-Friday and on the weekends its fend for yourself

I have fruit and a yougurt every day. It doesn''t take much to make it!

Yep, we both rip open a packet of instant oatmeal. We like the Kashi maple and brown sugar. And we both will get a headache if we skip coffee.
If not, I have a stash of Kashi GoLean bars in my office desk. They're great if I don't have time for breakfast because they have 6 grams of fiber and 13 grams of protein. It's a little too much sugar (31 grams) but hey, so is the poptart alternative.
*cringe*..is a poptart considered a breakfast item? I wouldn't even know what category of food it fits into..oh wait, I don't think it IS a food item. LOL
Good choice with the oatmeal and Kashi Starset!
Well it *is* sold in the cereal aisle

I once had to feed 50 people breakfast for a meeting that started at 6:30 on the spot. So I went to the grocery store and bought fruit, bagels, doughnuts, yogurt, granola bars, muffins...

When you get to that aisle you can see that most of that crap is glorified candy bars with a breakfast label!

I always eat something and 99% of the time it''s cereal. Sometimes I''ll make muffins or something and eat them for breakfast throughout the week. I''m not really a breakfast food person, so I''m not into the pancakes and bacon stuff anyway.

does instant oatmeal in a to-go container count?

Just cereal for me, and FI eats at work. He''ll make coffee for both of us. As far as eggs and bacon go--no thank you! If FI was frying stuff early in the morning, I would have a fit. The smell of frying eggs and bacon makes me really nauseous.

Almost every morning... it's either banana protein shakes or eggs, turkey bacon and whole grain toast. Usually the latter. Blackberries or raspberries too, if we have them.

I'm big on breakfast. I think it's a result of the LA Brunch phenomenon!

ETA: To be fair, I do not work early (before 9) every day/week/month and that is when I cook... if I'm working early that day then it's craft services, baby!!

I used to never eat breakfast. I''ve felt so much healthier since I started eating every three hours. It''s a life changer.

no, that''s junk food.

I "make" coffee and waffle (heat it in toaster) for myself, and DH "makes" a bowl or 2 of cereal for his breakfast daily. Does that count?
9.gif

We must eat breakfast though because we often miss lunch/ or eat very little because of the work.

Are you living in the 1950''s? DH is perfectly capable of pouring his own cereal.

yeah, two eggs over-easy with 4 strips of bacons and white toast.

No, definitely not everyday. I''m not a big breakfast food person but I do try and eat a little something every morning. On weekends, DH or I will cook eggs or steel cut oatmeal.

Yes.
Do you DF?

Noooo DFire, not white toast! That''s almost as bad as the pop tarts

Whole grain only... that''s my perfect breakfast, but downsized a bit. I take one egg over-easy, two strips of turkey (not regular) bacon, a half-slice of whole grain toast, and a full bowl of blackberries with a tall glass of water. Now THAT''S breakfast!!!

Come to think of it, we need threads for this.
