I was trying to keep it to myself until I got the setting but I'm just too freaking excited.

Anyone who frequents CS likely knows about my never ending quest for the perfect brown/pink zircon since I cant afford my dream brown/pink diamond.

I recently got an oval zircon I loved, but I realized what I *really* wanted was a round so I could make my own version of the ring that brought me to PS in the first place (pic below).



I had mostly given up when one of the aussie gem cutters I follow posted this stone. I immediately asked her to send more pics and quickly bought it. It arrived today and I am dead over how perfect it is.

That stone is really dynamite. So much fire and sparkle. It's spot on to your inspiration ring. But let's talk about those nails. Love, love love the color combo!

That is beautiful @lovedogs and I would have thought it was a diamond!! Now that DBL has labs maybe that dream diamond you posted is attainable in the form of a lab?

I purchased the setting from an overseas vendor. I have it, but am afraid the prongs will need to be redone so I'm going to take it to a local jeweler to ask about it, but then I'll update the thread. I'm crossing my fingers that the prongs can be fixed and the overall setting fits my stone
