Hello there, I am a long time lurker but first time poster. I started leaning about diamonds three years ago, when I stumbled upon Reddit diamond subs (although I quickly noticed a lot of the advice there was a bit misguided - while having the best intentions! - and I begun searching for educational resources and opinions in other places like PS). It was awesome to learn that I could get quality but affordable jewelry thanks to lab gems. I have mostly purchased my diamonds from reputable sellers (Alex Park, Distinctive Gem) and I have been very pleased with their work.
Now, I have been looking for a vivid pink pear for a while with several vendors, but I haven’t been unable to find one with the color saturation I want. I happened to find one that matches most of my boxes, but I am a bit stressed because I have never picked a stone all by myself, as I always had the guidance of vetted vendors before.
Hence, I would like to humbly ask my fellow shiny rock lovers here in Pricescope to give me their honest opinion on this stone.
I truly like the color and the proportions seem to be mostly on the ideal range (maybe the table is a bit higher?). I do not see a lot of leakage from the videos and pictures provided by the vendor, but I tend to doubt my judgement and perception quite a lot.
I wanted this stone to commemorate an important milestone in my life and I am afraid of buying something subpar that would sour the memory. If you could lend me your eyes and expertise, I would be extremely grateful.
