There''s the groom, 1 best man, 2 groomsmen and the two dads. (The two ushers will be wearing suits they own -at least that''s the plan, but offered to wear tuxes if we asked them to.)
So, with that said, my fiance wants the black tux with a silver/platinum vest and regular tie (as opposed to bow-tie). We were thinking of having the three groomsmen''s vests match the bridesmaids dresses (a David''s Bridal color - the dresses are all the same color) and then the dad''s do black or charcoal vests.
1) Does this sound like too much going on? I guess to me it seems ok, because there will be me in white and the bridesmaids in their color, and then my fiance will coordinate with me and the groomsmen coordinate with the bridesmaids.
2) The sugguestion was made to have the dads coordinate with the moms as opposed to having a black or charcoal color, but I think it may start to look like a rainbow soon. It makes more sense to have a color for the groom, color for the groomsmen and a color for the dads (even if the moms are wearing different colors)
3) Do you think its ok to have the ushers wear their own suits, or do you think a tux would make it looks less mish-mashed?
4) What''s your experience, what did you do/are you planning for yours?
Thanks!
